I just stared at Yuni in disbelief.  Stabbed? That couldn’t happen.  This wasn’t real.  How did someone stab her?  How did that happen?

I laughed at Yuni. I actually laughed.

‘Yuni that didn’t happen’ I told her, I was in utter denial and disbelief.

‘Taemin’ her voice was solemn; her eyes were looking at me seriously.  She grabbed my shoulders to sit me down.  ‘She was with one of the security guys, they didn’t expect any…, any fans there, as she is supposed to still be here with us right now, so she only took Joo-suk.  They were not on full alert but they did try to keep a low profile.  There didn’t seem to be anyone who recognized her, but someone ran at her before Joo-suk knew what happened she was on the floor and she had been stabbed.’

I looked at her in complete shock.  I didn’t know what to think.

‘Is she dead?’ I whispered as soon as the question came to mind. My eyes were wide, my heart was in my throat threatening to choke me.  Please don’t say she’s dead.

‘No’ Yuni shook her head, ‘Joo-suk was able to get her to the hospital, she has been lucky, the knife they used didn’t appear to be very big, and it missed any internal organs.’

I let out my breath, thank you, God, thank you for saving her.  ‘When did this happen?’ I asked her.

‘Just before the show, Taemin’ She told me kindly.

‘JUST BEFORE THE SHOW?’ I got up shouting, why wasn’t I told sooner?  Suddenly I was livid.

‘Taemin please stay calm’ Yuni told me grabbing my shoulders and sitting me back down. ‘I wasn’t told until half an hour ago and you were still on stage.’

‘I need to leave right now’ I told her getting up again.  I turned to her ‘Yuni, please I need to go now, help me.’
