We left the apartment, and in the car park, the remnants of the roses from yesterday were still there.  Jen looked around at them confused.

‘Someone must have not had a good Valentine’s day.’ She said to me smiling.  I forced a smile back, glad she had assumed it was someone else’s bas fortune and not me who had caused the mess. 

We drove to the studio I had arranged for us, I didn’t want to do this in the company where anyone could walk in.

We walked in and I put on some music.  I began slowly, showing her some simple moves and doing them with her slowly, so she could fully understand the way her body was supposed to look and how to do them. 

It was fun, just like I planned it.  We were both having fun, laughing at the mistakes but she was trying her best to learn them, and after a couple of hours she had most of one of the dances I planned for her almost perfected. 

‘You did really good.’ I told her handing her a bottle of water.  She was aching slightly and sweaty, but she had this glow about her that I found really attractive. 

‘I’m no good.  My body just doesn’t want to do that,’ she attempted to show me one move that she was having particular trouble with. 

I shook my head, ‘don’t worry about it your almost there, it takes time to get it right,’

I had planned with the help of my friend a dance we both could do together, but I needed Rino here to teach us both at the same time.

‘I didn’t want to tell you until we finished this, but I choreographed a dance, for us, you and me, with Rino, she said she would give you some lessons if you want to carry on learning.’

‘Oh really? That would be amazing!’ She exclaimed, ‘But Rino knows I’m no good right?’

‘Haha, she knows you’re a beginner.’ I laughed.

‘Yeah but she’s like a world-class choreographer, what if she says I just can't-do it?’ she frowned, her eyebrows creasing together cutely. 

‘She can teach a bag to dance.  Don’t worry.’ I laughed. 

It had been a good afternoon.  I loved dancing and I loved being able to share it with her.  I was glad she was so open to doing this with me, and more than open, enjoying herself with me. 

We practiced a little more before I had a second surprise planned. 

‘I have another surprise’ I told her when we sat down for the second tim
