Description

When Quinns best friends, Jimin and Adam, want to throw a huge celebration for her nineteenth birthday, she just kinda goes along with it. She's not exactly a huge party animal like Jimin, but decides that a little fun can't hurt anybody. But after meeting a strange girl at the club, Quinn wakes up a completely different person. Literally.

Foreword

I checked my reflection in the front hall mirror. Elijah walked by but then stopped to look me up and down.

"Are you going out again?"

"Yes." His question bugged me for some reason. The tone of the 'again'. It seemed so judgemental. I shook it off. "How do I look?" I smoothed down my sequined mini skirt and pulled up my skin tight strapless top. He didn't answer. I used the mirror to look at him behind me while teasing my blonde dyed hair, adjusting my dark roots. "Well?"

"You look great, Genisis." Again. His tone made me prickle in a strange way.

"What's the matter with you?" I demanded, turning and looking him straight in the eye. He sighed.

"I feel like you party too much, Genisis. No one's going to take you seriously in life if you act like...like a all the time." He looked at me sadly. I glared at him as a car horn sounded outside.

"Jimin's here. See you." I grabbed my purse huffily and gave the mirror one more look. What I saw caused me to do a double take. The girl in the mirror didn't look like me. My face was currently lined with anger for my brother, but she just looked at me in sadness. She had light blue eyes like mine, but they didn't have the dark makeup that I did. Her lips, too, were mine, but without the maroon lipstickmine had come to know. Her skin had a natural glow, while mine was tan, and she had a summery cotton top on, unlike my tight, leather, strapless one. I looked behind me to see if such a girl stood there, but the only one there was Elijah. I llooked back at the mirror, gripping the edge vanity cabinet. Elijah spoke as I stared at the girl in the mirror.

"What did you see?" He voice was heavy with concern.

"I..I saw myself."
