Zhang Yixing never expected a murder to occur at a party especially when he planned on sleeping if the party got boring. The only problem with the murder is that the engaged girl, Lan Bingbing, is accused of committing the murder. Yixing does something different and decides to have Bingbing help him solve the murder.
Bingbing wants to solve this murder because whoever did it deserves to get ruined, if they want to ruin her reputation then she will do the same. Even if the culprit is a friend or a family member, she will not be forgiving. They crossed the line when they killed her maid and accused her of cheating on her fiancé.

I always enjoyed reading mystery novels and watching "Detective Conan" also the movie "Clue", those are what inspired me to write this story. I never wrote a murder mystery so I'm not sure how good this story will be when I finish it. Originally I planned on writing about 10 chapters but I decided to go for 3 chapters because I never wrote chaptered stories. I also had to pick Lay because he is still at the top of my bias list. Also, I aged up the EXO members to fit with the story, they could be younger or older than they look.
I did not name Bingbing after Chinese actress, Fan Bingbing, I happen to go to a Chinese name website where I discovered that "Bing" can mean ice, bright, or grasp depending on how the character for it is written. Her name means "luminous ice" while Lan means "blue".
If anyone is curious about the two actresses, they are Liu Shishi and Liu Yifei. Although they have the same last name they are not related, I chose those two because they kind of resemble one another. Another interesting note is that Liu Shishi is actually older than Liu Yifei, apparently there were some people that called Shishi "Little Yifei", since Yifei started acting earlier than Shishi.

Author's Note (6/26/17)
The author of the writing contest extended the dates for the challenges so I decided that I will kind of add an extra chapter where I will include the real ending that I intended for the story. I will also use that time to edit the story more if there was something that I missed as I was writing the story.
My idea for chapter 4 will start around how chapter 3 ended. I was thinking of doing a point of view where you get to see from Hana's perspective like what she saw before she got murdered.
