I scowl with frustration at myself in the mirror. Damn my hair, it just won't behave and damn this alarm clock because of it I'm again late. I must hurry or I'm gonna get a real scolding from my seniors. As I sighed and rolled my eyes in exasperation I looked at the girl staring me in the mirror with brown hair and same brown coloured eyes.

I was always a nerd who just focused on her goal that was becoming a doctor. It was actually my father's dream that I would become a doctor and so it became my dream. I know its kinda weird that a big girl like me had never made a single boyfriend even after getting many proposals but it was only because I was always busy in studies.

I broke through my thoughts as soon as I looked at my watch which said I was again late. I pulled my hairs back in a ponytail, took my belongings and ran out of the apartment to catch a taxi.

After reaching the hospital I ran like the floor was lava and at last I reached the canteen. Well I was lucky that no one had yet noticed my absence. I picked a cup and filled it with my favorite morning coffee and as I turned around "omo" I bumped into a tall sorry very tall guy and spilled my coffee on his jacket. Uhhh not a single day could pass without me getting in trouble. That guy's face was covered with a mask and a sunglass.

"sorry I'm really sorry I didn't see you coming" I immediately apologized.

"can't you see you spilled your coffee on my jacket" he shouted at me.

" yes I can see and that's why I told you sorry" I tried to calm myself although that was not helping.

"your sorry won't clean it" he said annoyingly.

"okay if my sorry won't work then I'll compensate you " i said keeping my voice down even though anger was raging inside me.

 " oh so you think you can pay for it. Well let me tell you even if you put together your whole year's earnings still it won't be equal to its price" he said mockingly.

aahh this jerk. My whole body was trembling with anger. I rolled my eyes and I was about to give that jerk a good reply when a guy who was standing behind the tall jerk and was wearing a same mask like the jerk and whom I hadn't noticed till now came forward and said to the tall jerk " c'mon bro you know we don't have much time to waste"

" But Kai you know how much this jacket means to me" the jerk said to the other guy whom he called Kai still keeping his eyes on me.

" I know bro but we don't have time. We will clean it later don't worry" Kai tried to calm him. And before walking away Kai looked at me with an understanding expression and said "I'm sorry for my friend's behavior" and before I could say anything they both walked away.
