Sunny had just received the report from the bank that a robbery was underway. Sunny had hacked into multiple alarm systems in the city so that they would get the same warnings as the rest of the police force would get during emergencies. She immediately reported the situation to Taeyeon, Tiffany, and Yoona who had barely even woken up before the bank robbery had begun. “Tae! Tiff! Wake up!!” Sunny yelled.

“…ugh what is it??” Taeyeon moaned.

“Yeah Sunny, can you comeback in like… five minutes… actually second thoughts… an hour please.” Tiffany sighed.

“No guys, this is important. Bank robbery in progress in the central city. Apparently, it’s just one guy, but if it wasn’t a problem they wouldn’t have reported. You guys should deal with this asap!” Sunny ordered.

“Alright, alright I’m up…” Taeyeon yawned and immediately dressed herself as Vermilion while still in a half asleep mindset.

“TaeTae… don’t leave without me…” Tiffany also had conjured up her outfit, but even though she did, she was still comfortably wrapped in the sheets.

“Come on Fany, this shouldn’t take long. Yoona-ah! Are you coming? Oh, wait you have school. Never mind.” Taeyeon remembered.

“No! I mean I do but I want to go with you guys. I’m already all caught up with all my assessments, missing just a few hours will be fine.” Yoona reassured.

“Well, if you’re sure. It shouldn’t even be a few hours though, with us three this should only take a few minutes.” Taeyeon yawned once more.

“Alright, last one there’s a rotten byuntae!” Taeyeon yelled while she jumped out of the window with her wings spread wide.

“Damn it, Cherry take me there as quick as possible, I don’t want TaeTae calling me a byun. Be quick, but smooth, I want to take a nap on your back.” Tiffany laughed.

“Geez, princess so demanding. Hurry up and get on then.” Cherry demanded. Once Tiffany had also begun her way towards the city bank, Yoona said her goodbyes to Sunny and thanking her for letting her in on the situation. It really showed that Sunny trusted Yoona to help Taeyeon and Tiffany rather than just burden them.

Taeyeon was the first to make it over to the bank and not a single police car was seen in front of the building. It seemed like the law enforcement was taking their time to arrive at the robbery call. No matter though, Taeyeon moved forward and entered the building. It was strange, all the hostages were sitting quietly, no crying and trembling and not even any tied up hands. They simply sat there, motionless and as if they had been frozen in time. Taeyeon took a quick look around and couldn’t see anyone around her. Did they run away? If so, how come all the hostages are still immobilized? Taeyeon wondered. Yoona and Tiffany finally caught up with Taeyeon and since they arrive at the same time, no one was unfortunate enough to be given the title as byuntae for the day. “What’s going on here? Why are they all so still?” Tiffany questioned.

“I have no idea, they seem so lifeless but they’re definitely still breathing. I haven’t seen a single sign of the bank robber either. Something’s not quite right though, if he left, why would all the hostages still be here like this?” As if out of thin air, a man robe man appeared before them. He clapped his hands continuously like he was applauding the trio and as a matter of fact, he was. “Well, well, nice to finally meet you all. Especially you Vermilion, the youngest ever mage to defeat King at his strongest level. That certainly is no easy task, you should be proud.” The man continued to clap.

“You seem to know us, mind telling us who you are?” Taeyeon questioned.

“Oh, where are my manners. Elder Cosmic sends her regards as she couldn’t make an appearance today, but in her place, I have arrived. One of Elder Cosmic’s greatest emissaries, Mage 01.” Mage 01 explained. Taeyeon couldn’t help but let a slight laugh escape after hearing his name. She was terrible at giving names, but Mage 01 was significantly worse than any of Taeyeon’s names ideas have been. Mage 01 obviously caught Taeyeon’s quiet chuckle and clenched his fist at her mockery. “You dare laugh in the face of an emissary of Elder Cosmic?” He questioned.

“Sorry, but Mage 01 is a terrible name. I would know, I make bad codenames all the time.” Taeyeon laughed. She could no longer hold it in and once Tiffany and Yoona both saw her laughing her off, they couldn’t help but also giggle a little. “I shall forgive you for your ignorance once, as we have yet to start this war. I have come…” Taeyeon cut him off.

“Come to give us a warning… blah blah blah, we’ve heard it all before Mage 01. You’ve come here to give me a warning, maybe you even ask us to join your team because you’ve seen the value of having our skills as a part of your plan. The answer is no, a thousand times no and a million times no. We will never join you or the Wicked Witch of the East.” Taeyeon stated.

“Be careful Vermilion, we’re giving you a chance to be part of the new generation. To be by Elder Cosmic’s side when she revives the magical lifestyle. The world is in chaos because prideful human beings are attempting to dominate this world. They clamber for even the slightest bit of power to trump one another, but if they were to see that there is and has always been a single power to rule them all. They will all fall to their knees and bow before magical beings like us. Don’t you want to save the world, Vermilion? This is your chance, humans are a plague that must be cleansed and the only way to do so is to rule them.” Mage 01 stated.

“Get it through your head, Vermilion, Azura and I will never join your sick cult. Humans may not be perfect, but neither are we, what gives us the right to rule when we’re just as imperfect as they are?” Tiffany questioned.

“If this is your answer then I’m quite disappointed. On the bright side though, destroying you in front of the human’s you try to protect will be quite humiliating. So I’m glad I get the opportunity to do this.” Mage 01 laughs.

“You think you can take us on? If you haven’t noticed, there’s three against one here.” Yoona reasoned.
