And it all started with the first contact... Precisely 24 hours ago, an unknown source broadcasted a video clip to every single television in the world. It pictured two indistinguishable figures in a stark white room. Above their heads was a timer: 364 days, 23 hours, 59 minutes, and 59 seconds. And it keeps on going down.
What does this countdown mean? Is the Earth in danger? Only 5 teenage girls will be able to know the truth!!! Do you think they can handle it?

This fic was heavily inspired by Tokyo Mew Mew (my weeb tendencies started early on in my childhood...), the manga Mahou Shoujo Site (really ed up manga actually) and this set of drawings. Like...you'd think that a magical girl fic would be inspired by Sailor Moon, but...nah.
I'm going to be super indulgent with this fic. The plot is going to be really fantastical. Wear your seatbelts, kids, because this is going to be one wild ride.
