My heart is jumping in happiness when I receive her text.

“You’re welcome. Tomorrow is Christmas, are you free? We can go out for a drink again” I replied

“Tomorrow, I’m busy. I will go out and eat with my parents” She texts me back

I felt a little disappointed when reading her text. Then my phone rings again

“I’m free after 7 pm, if you still free at that time?”

I sit up happily

“Of course I am. Let’s meet at that time at the Christmas tree in the city square” I replied

On a plane at the VIP sear there’s a young girl sitting. She caresses at the ring on her hand while smiling. Suddenly she stops smiling

“Bomi-ya, are you still waiting for me? I guess not, right? I didn’t keep my promise after all.” She whispers

“There’s a part of me that want you to move on now and be happy. But there’s this part that want to see you at that tree. I miss you” She whispers

Her tear drops on the ring.

“10 years ago, meeting you at that Christmas tree is the happiest moment in my life.” She said

Then she laughs softly

“At that time, you looked so clumsy and cute” She whispers

Then a flight attendant comes to her and said

“Miss, the plane is about to land”

“Ok, thank you” The girl said

City Square

Bomi closes his eyes to remember their happy time

“Do you remember the first time we meet at school? That was a big surprise to me. You also felt the same right?” Bomi whispers

“I still remember that feeling of joy, knowing that you were the transfer student in my class” Bomi whispers and smiles

~Flashback~

“Oh boy, I’m late for school” Bomi thought while rushing toward his classroom.

Finally he reaches his class. He opens the door and rushes in. Suddenly he bumps into someone. He quickly catches the person by hand and pulls back.

“I’m so...Chorong?” Bomisaid in surprise

“Bomi?” She replies also surprise to see Bomi

“Why are you here?” Bomi asks her

“I just transferred here” Chorong said

“Really? That's great” Bomi happily said

“Excuse me Mr. Yoon; I believe it’s time for homeroom.” A woman’s voice said

“Ah...I'm sorry Ms. Kim” Bomi said

“Okay, Ms. Park, you can sit at that empty seat next to Mr. Yoon’s seat.” Ms. Kim said

Then they go to their seats. They look and smile at each other

On the airplane

“Those time being with you in the school is my most precious memories, Bom-ah” Chorong said

“I still remember the Christmas Eve, one year later, the day you confessed your love to me. You look so clumsy, but cool at the same time.” She keeps caressing her ring and whispers

Chorong’s POV

After playing around for a while, Bomi and I go to the Christmas tree where we met for the first time. We are standing there and looking up at the tree

“Bom-ah, thank you” I said softly

He looks at me with a surprised look. I smile at him.

“I feel very happy to be with you, Bom-ah” I said

“Chorong” He calls me softly

“That is what I really want to say to you” I smiles brightly at him and said

“Chorong-ah” He calls my name seriously while holding my hands. I can feel my heart suddenly beating fast

“W...w...what is it Bomi?” I ask him shyly

“Uhm….I...I...actually...I...uhm…” He stutters while scratching his head

“What is it, Bom-ah?” I ask in calm tone

Though, the truth is I’m very nervous. My heart is going to jump out of my chest any second. I hope that he doesn’t feel the shaking in my hand

“Chorong-ah” He calls me again

I look directly at his eyes waiting for him to continue what he’s about to say

“Chorong-ah, the truth is I…I…I…”
