Then Bomi sees everything around him turns white. When he looks up, he sees the Christmas tree again.

“The tree in my dream” Bomi thought

“That is not a dream, Yoon Bomi” He hears the familiar voice

From the tree, Bomi sees a familiar old man walking out.

“You are…” Bomi said in surprised tone

“Congratulations Yoon Bomi, you passed” The old man looks at him and said

“What do you mean?” Bomi asks

“Everything you experienced is not a dream.” The old man said and tabs his cane on the ground.

Suddenly the three shadows appear behind him. There is also the woman he met in the trap, and the old woman that led Chorong to the tree. Bomi realized all of them. He frowns and said

“Who are you? Do you come here to take my Chorong? I won’t let you do that”

“I did all those things just for you to realize what you had neglected for so long” The old man said

Bomi looks at the old man in surprised

“Tell me Yoon Bomi, what is the most important to you?” The old man asks

“Of course my wife, my love, my one and only Park Chorong. She is my life, my world, and my happiness” Bomi said immediately

“Then do you realize what I meant now?” The old man opens his eyes and looks at Bomi

“Chorong-ah, I’m sorry that I can’t go with you today”

“Chorong-ah, I’m sorry. My business partner just came to Korea. I have to meet him”

“I wonder if Bom-ah remembers our 2^nd wedding anniversary”

“This is another year Bom-ah has to work in our anniversary”

“Bom-ah, when is your work done? I made a big meal for us”

Tear rolls down on his cheeks. He realized his big mistake already. He realized it since Chorong was kidnapped.

“I’m an idiot. How can I focus too much on work that I forget what is really important to me” Bomi said

“Because you realized it, and you proved to me how much you love her, I give you a second chance.” The old man said

“However remember this, in this life, there won’t be a lot of thing that can give you a second chance. Treasure what is dear to you. Don’t let it slip out of your hand and regret it later.” He continues

“I understand. Thank you very much, grandpa” Bomi bows and said

“Good, then I will go now. I entrust Chorong to you. Take good care of her. If you forget what happened today and leave her all alone like that, I will take her away from you” The old man said and walks back to the Christmas tree

“Wait a minute, grandpa? Did I hear this before?” He thought

“Wait grandpa; tell me who you really are?” Bomi calls him

The old man turns to look at Bomi. Then he laughs loudly and said

“I’m just an old man who love to decorate Christmas tree with his little granddaughter”

“Granddaughter” Bomi thought

“Bom-ah Christmas is very special to me because of one more reason.”

“What is it, Chorong-ah?”

“When I was a kid, I would always decorate my Christmas tree with my grandfather. I always call him grandpa”

Bomi looks up in surprised

“You are Chorong’s grandfather?” He ask

Grandpa looks at Bomi and smiles

“Take good care of her, grandson-in-law” He said and disappears

Bomi sees everything around him turns back to normal again. He is now sitting on his bed with Chorong in front of him. She holds his hand and said

“I don’t know what your nightmare just now is, Bom-ah. I love you, and I won’t ever leave you no matter what”

“Chorong-ah” Bomi hugs her tightly

Then he bends down and kisses her lips deeply. Chorong closes her eyes and replies his kiss. She can feel how much love from Bomi’s kiss. His kiss is very intense, rough but gentle. It is deeper than any of the kiss they shared. Slowly Bomi pushes her down on their bed and hovers over Chorong.

“Chorong-ah, I love you” Bomi kisses Chorong’s neck and said

“I love you too, Bom-ah” Chorong whispers while hugging his neck tightly

~At dawn~

Bomi looks at Chorong who is still sleeping very soundly on his hand. He uses his hand to trace her face and her hair gently. Those things happened just few days ago, but to Bomi, it is like centuries. Now he can look at his Chorong’s face, hear her voice, feel her hug and kiss.

Bomi bends down and gently kisses Chorong’s lips tasting the sweetness of his wife's lips. He then kisses her neck inhaling her scent while her bared back

“Uhm…” Chorong moans unconsciously because of his action

Hearing that, Bomi stops. He doesn't want to wake his Chorong up so early. He hugs her tightly and her hair to comfort her. Chorong buries her face on his chest and returns to her sleep again.

After a while, Bomi slowly removes her hand from him. Then he slowly steps down from the bed and pulls the blanket up to cover Chorong gently. After wearing back his clothes, Bomi leaves the room.
