Bomi quickly rushes to the exit of the time tunnel. When he gets out of the place, he sees Chorong’s soul standing under the tree. However the grim reaper is very near her, and he is raising his sickle to take her soul.

“Bom-ah, don’t do that”

*bang*

“Chorong!”

“I...I won't leave...you, Bom… Bom-ah”

“Ho...w can...I *Pant*... lea... ve my husband...*Pant*... the man I love... more…*Pant*... than anything…”

The memories of that day flood back to him again

“I will protect you, Chorong!” Bomi shouts and rushes to shield for Chorong

The sickle hits his back damaging his soul a little making him fall down. Because Bomi is still alive, his souls wouldn’t be taken by that hit

“I made it” Bomi smiles at the girl in his arms.

Suddenly the three birds with three different colors appeared in the sky. They fly in a circle above Chorong, then a warm light illuminating down at Chorong lightening the whole place.

Chorong’s eyes slowly open. She looks at Bomi while he is also looking at her.  She raises her hand and touches his face

“Bom-ah” Chorong calls him gently

“Chorong-ah” Bomi smiles brightly while holding her hand

“What’s wrong, Bom-ah? Where are we? Didn’t I--”

Bomi stops all Chorong’s confused question by his lips. He kisses her sweet lips deeply. He wants to taste the sweetness of Chorong’s lips which he misses so much.

“I will tell you everything later, my love.” Bomi said after breaking the kiss

Then he hears the beeping sound on his watch.

“Let’s go Chorong-ah, we have to get out of here before we run out of time” Bomi holds her hands pulling her with him

However three shadows appear blocking his way. Bomi pulls Chorong behind him to protect her.

“I won’t let you take her away from me again” Bomi said seriously

“Yoon Bomi, you only has 30 minutes. If you don't hurry, the tunnel of time will close. Then you can't save your wife, and also your soul will be trap here” Bomi and Chorong hear the old man’s voice

“What is that, Bom-ah?” Chorong asks him in confusion

Bomi looks at the shadows surrounding them.

“I have to find a way to get her out of here” He thought

He holds the sword that the old man gave him tightly.

“I won’t let you take my love away from me. I will protect my wife!” Bomi shouts and rushes to the shadows

The sword suddenly shines brighter because of his love for Chorong is the greatest. He swings the sword at them. The shadows disappeared to dodge Bomi’s attack.

“Let’s go Chorong-ah” Bomi holds Chorong’s hand and pulls her with him.

Chorong looks back and sees three shadows is chasing after them.

“Bom-ah, what’s wrong? Who are they?” Chorong asks him worriedly

Bomi turns to an alley to hide from them. He looks out and sees the shadows standing around the tunnel

“Bom-ah, what’s wrong?” Chorong looks at Bomi and asks in worried tone

She doesn’t know what’s happening, and she is very worried because of that.

“Calm down Chorong-ah. Don't worry. Everything will be fine” Bomi said gently as he hugs her in his arm

“Tell me what's happening Bom-ah” Chorong demand

“Those are the shadows who want to take you away from me. I won't let that happened” Bomi said

Then he briefly explains for Chorong everything since she was shot, how he met the old man from the tree, and what happened until now.

Suddenly they hear the old man's voice again.

“You don’t have much of time, Yoon Bomi.”

Bomi looks at his watch and sees it is only 10 minutes left for him. He turns and holds Chorong’s arms tightly

“Listen carefully what will I say Chorong-ah” Bomi said

“When you come out from here, you will see a circle with light. That is the time tunnel. You have to run as quickly as possible to get there okay? That way, you will be able to come back to life again” He continues in serious tone

“What about you, Bom-ah?” Chorong asks

“I will be right behind you” Bomi her hair and said

“You liar” Chorong frowns and said

“With those shadows over there, you want to hold them back for me, right?” She continues in serious tone

Chorong really understand him more than anyone else.

“Chorong-ah, I will follow you right after I hold them back. I will be right behind you” Bomi said while smiling to reassure her that everything will be fine

“Bom-ah, you can’t trick me. I know what you want.” Chorong said

“Just go back, Bom-ah. I’m already dead. I don’t want you to die too.” She continues
