Foreword

Hi, it's my first fanfiction here and I just made it in the past hour or two. I've long been a supporter of Running Man and it breaks my heart to see Kang Gary leaving and changing his number. Nonetheless, I do wish him the best and hope he finds happiness in whatever he does. This fanfiction is meant to be a feels trip for those of us who know how much his departure has left a mark on the cast of Running Man, especially Ji Hyo. It's not meant to be a happy one, so do prepare for that haha. Chapter 1: Hey! Subscribed a while ago but only just had the time to read this and I'm glad I did. It is a lovely one-shot. To me, the story evokes a sense of poignancy. Capturing the feelings of the "what-ifs". What if Kang Gary chose to stay on?

The part whereby Ji Hyo looks through archived video of their time together on the show really gets me in the feels. And I think it got the Ji Hyo in your story in the feels too. Because it is a memory preserved in a time where no one can go back to, but know it was there. And it is something that not just Monday Couple fans, but Running Man fans can relate to because the Monday Couple were just such an integral part of the show and it just feels us old time fans with nostalgia just looking back on their past interactions. So kudos to you!

And thank you for such a bittersweet and moving one-shot. It proves that a story doesn't need to have a happy ending in order to be good. You have my vote!
