Description
Jeon Haera witnesses a murder from her window
- a young woman is getting strangled in the apartment complex next to hers. Panicking but not loosing it, Haera informs the police.
The police investigates the apartment involved. The young woman living there greets them oblivious and very much alive.
Haera swears she didnt just imagine it. The police hardly believes her. No further investigations take place.

A week later, Lee Hoyoung, Apartment 23 Resident dies, in murder.
The police starts looking for the culprit. One of the new cops in the block, Officer Park Chanyeol, discovers Haera's case among the reports and without listening to the warnings and teasing coming from his colleagues, he pays a visit to the woman.
Haera has a room with a view to a murder taking place a week later.
Chanyeol wants to believe it.

bell is here to present you a sick story a not-very-original story hopefully looking interesting to you enough to give it a read... i know. but i don't care. i'm going to write this story because reasons, duh, and i invite you on this journey with me!

title taken from the movie with the same title, directed by James Ivory, starring Helen Bonham Carter as the lead, from 1985. i only took the title, havent seen the movie - though i am planning to -. if find something similar to anything while reading, it must be a coincidence. i dont plagirize.
