Let You Go

Description

She loved her enough to let her go.

Foreword

“Why did you call me this late at night? Make sure this is something important.” She looks at her. Staring at how the moonlight perfectly shines Sejeong’s beautiful cloudy gray eyes.

Sejeong tucks her hands inside the pocket of her jacket, her breathing starts to become aggressive. It’s cold outside so you can see Sejeong’s breathe as she exhales, “Somi, let’s break up.”

A laugh comes out of Somi’s mouth, “Don’t joke around like that, it’s not funny.”

“I’m serious,” Sejeong spoke, not even a single emotion can be found on her face.

Somi’s world stopped for a second and she feels hundreds of painful needles poking her chest. She feels like she’s being choked by her own heartbeat.

“Why? Sejeong, you love me, right? Tell me you love me, and I can act like this never happened.” Somi pleaded. She tries to hold the older girl but Sejeong pushed her away.

It was a simple push, but to Somi it felt like someone stabbed her heart and ripped it out her body.  Sejeong never pushed Somi away when she tries to hold her, this was the first time.

“Enough, and yes, I did love you, but to be honest? I wish I never did,” Sejeong answers Somi, her voice cold as the freezing temperature.

Somi’s eyes fills with tears, her vision starts to blur by her unshed tears.

“What do you mean? Sejeong, tell me what did I do?” Then finally she breaks down. Her tears start to fall down her cheeks, ending up on the cold cement. She didn’t even realize she turned to a crying mess in front of Sejeong.

The scene is truly heartbreaking but Sejeong didn’t feel anything. Her heart was numb, she didn’t care about the younger girl like the way she used to. She looks at Somi like she never cared about the younger girl, she doesn’t feel guilty nor regret.

“You didn’t do anything. I just don’t love you anymore,” She calmly said, as if this was just a friendly conversation.

Somi felt powerless, she can barely move to say something. All she can do was wipe her tears that keep falling out her eyes, and convince herself that this is just a bad dream, a very bad dream. So many thoughts filled her mind in a short period of time.

“I’m sorry,” Sejeong turned around and walks away.

Somi stopped her, grabbing her wrist, and pulling her for a hug.  Sejeong tried to push Somi away, but the younger girl didn’t let that happen.

The younger girl placed her head on Sejeong’s chest; she always did this so she can hear how Sejeong’s heart raced when she wraps her arms around the older girl. But today was different; Sejeong’s heart didn’t race at all. Although, it hurts, she endured the pain and hugged the older girl.

“Let me hold you. Let me hold you for the last time.” Somi managed to utter. Saying the last sentence killed her inside. It’s a sentence that never crossed her mind when she’s with Sejeong.

Sejeong stopped resisting; she let her ex-girlfriend hold her in her arms - after all this will be the last time.

------

So yeah. I deleted my previous story, because I wasn't happy. I rushed it, so I wasn't very proud of it. I hope this new story will turn out well.

Chapter 14: Lol

Okay so chaeyeon with yuju being together does have nothing to do with sejeong's dad? Or maybe it was all planned by chaeyeon. Good game, chaeyeon.

Well good thing it's a happy ending. Thought it'll be angst.

I hope to see you in your future story, author-nim
Good job for finishing this one :)
