After the discovery of the wolves and the major war that followed, the humans and the wolves have decided to finally make a truce to avoid anymore bloodshed hence the magical ritual that bound the two species together and made them one was cast introducing the a/b/o system to the humans. Ever since then, the humans and the wolves have been living in peace. But there is always an underlying tension that may break the balance both fought hard to make and keep.
