Based on one of the most popular prompts out there, the Hanahaki disease AU. The disease shows how beautiful, and deadly love is. It shows that loving is about a choice between holding on or letting go and sometimes, how little say you have on the said choice.

Krystal hates the notion of love blooming in her heart and Amber's heart might have been filled with thorns.

Foreword

Just a quick write up, as requested by a friend. I never thought I would be writing KryBer story - or even a Hanahaki disease AU. I don't really like the prompt but this is among the little things I'm willing to do for my smol friend. Some plot holes might be glaring and probably grammatical errors here and there but eh, I'm pretty busy and I just wrote this in one sit anyway.

this was heartbreaking. but such is life sometimes. feel like they could have overcome it like wenrene if amber confessed and krystal realized sooner. but. well.

Chapter 1: This is my first time reading a kryber fic and my heart clenched so hard at the end. It's sad but also really beautiful. It's good to know that wenrene fought and succeeded in surpassing the disease together.

Chapter 1: Wenrene overcoming their disease together ahh I love it! First time reading a KryBer fic and that ending :(( If painful love can be shown physically it could be like this like every part of you becomes damaged its soo difficult someone being destroyed/dying over an unrequited love.
