((a/n)) This is a gender bender story.

Everyday, every class break, I refuse to get out of the classroom. What's the point? I have no friends outside there. So do here but, at least, inside I'm sitting in a room with AC. I hope my house, especially my bedroom, has AC too. That would make me study as dilligent as when I'm in school. Nah, I think that would just make me sleep all day long every weekend. Yeah, I'm a type of boy who doesn't like outdoor activities (or any activities, actually). I prefer reading a book or just doodling. Lonely? To be honest, this is so much better than hanging out with those rude boys. I never like boys. I can't never blend in with them.

Not all boys are bad tho. For example, our class leader Jihyo, is so kind and humble. He is friendly to almost everyone in this class, maybe in this school too. Not to mention he is so charming and charismatic. He makes everyone looks at him when he's around. Oh, he talked to me once! He was collecting datas of the students or something. I cannot forget his genuine smile combined with her sparkling gaze he gave to me that day. No one ever smiles to me like that. I hope he can smile to me again one day but, well, he's completely out of my league. No way he even remembers my name. "Haeju-ya!" Ah, I must be crazy imagining him calls my name.

"HAEJU-YA!" Someone calls me from behind. I don't need to look around to know who that is. Nayeon, my most annoying (only) friend in this world. Hmm.... But I do need to look around to dodge his hug. I don't know why this boy like skinship so much. "Ya! What are you doing, dodging me like that?!" He yells to me.

"I don't want a boy hugs me," I say.

He snorts as he's angry and sits on the empty spot beside me. Not really. He pushes me to the wall so he can sit there. "Doodling again?"

I cover my notebook so he cannot see it. 

"I'm not interested, You brat." He takes my hand and stands up again. "C'mon, let's go to the canteen!"

"I don't have money."

"Lie."

"......"

"I get it. I will treat you."

"I don't want to leave the room."

"I don't want have a friend who looks so pathetically lonely like you, Haeju-ya!" He releases her grip.

"Ssshh! Low your voice down. You're embarassing me!"

He sits down again. "Please, Ju, accompany me. I need you at the canteen."

"Wow.... Why?" I look at his uneasy expression. It's not rare to see him forcing me to the canteen like this but I think it's different this time. "There's something happening, right?"

"Not something..... Someone."

"Huh?"

He puts her hands on my lap as he's begging. "Please......"

"Here he is!" He exclaims when we almost reach the canteen. He drags me to the side of the street to hide. I try to find the guy who asks Nayeon out. All I can see there are just boys that I don't know. "He's alone, Ju! Ottokeeeee~"

"Okay, don't freak out. Take a breath deeply....." Nayeon does what I say. "To be honest, I don't see him."

He coughs. "Aish.... The one with basketball jersey!"

"The red one?"

"Duh... YES!"

"Hoo.... Not bad. Big dumb handsome boy, your type indeed."

He's blushing to hear that. It's so clear because of his white puffy cheeks. He punches my arm. "You jerk! What should I do?!"

"Mm.... Like I said, don't freak out. Treats him like everyone that you know: Friendly and normal. Don't show him your feeling too much even though you really want it. Don't scare him off and, actually, just be yourself and see what happens. You'll be fine!" I pat his back.

"Okay okay okay..... Oh my God, I can't believe I ask a dating advice from a pathetic loner like you.........."

"......"

"Just cheer me up!"

I push him and whispers, "Hwaiting!" He turns around just to reply that.

After that, I see Nayeon walking toward him confidently. He raises his hand so high and shouts, "Momo!!!" The one who's called doesn't see him. Nayeon shouts again. Why does he need to shout anyway? Why not just come to him first and................ Oh no no, please don't run---- He falls down to the ground. Ooow.... That must be embarassing! I hope Momo doesn't see that. Nayeon is so doomed.

Before I'm able to catch him up, a guy squats in front of Nayeon and gives a hand. "Are you okay?" He asks.

"I... I am.... Thank you," Nayeon stutters. I look at that good-looking boy who's helping him. A neat hair and uniform. Expensive smile. Ah, I see his friends (more like 'fans' actually) are coming toward here. I think I know this guy. He must be that son of the owner of this school.......... Oh right, I must help Nayeon!

I come out from my hiding place. "Nayeon, are you okay?"

"My ankle hurts....."

"I can take you to the clinic if you want," He offers.

"It's okay. I'll take care of this kid. Who told you to run like you're just seeing an ice cram truck?!" I lecture him while putting his arm on around me neck.

"Aish...."

"Are you sure you don't need any help?"

"I got this. Anyway, thank you, umm....."

He smiles at me. "No problem. I'm Mina." He introduces himself.

"Nayeon.... Umm, my friend. I... I'm Haeju," I say. I can't believe he makes me bumbling. As I finish my sentence, I bring Nayeon to the clinic in a really slow pace. On the way, I keep thinking about that person. Mina?

Until the end of the day, I still cannot forget him. The second person who gives me a genuine smile. I lay on the bed in my warm room reminiscing that short memory about him. Deep in my heart, I make a promise to myself, "I must meet Mina again. At least, once! I need to see that smile again......!"

((a/n)) This gender-bender TLT was just a warm-up. I have no vision about it. I might just cut it in the middle if no one interested. Meh, let's just do this! I might stop Haeju from dating Sana (or anyone) in the middle of the season and back to my usual 'friendship' fanfic. I don't know, let's find it out together~
