THE END? [Part 3]

"I disagree! We cannot end it like this," Raj Oppa tells the chairmen in the middle of the meeting.

I'm surprised that he says that. CEO-nim just told us that they thought it was the best for me to leave Twice. "I'm sure you know the situation, Dear. People start to sympathy for the other 9 members. So, we need to do some regulations. We need to do this just because there are some aspects that are already 'burned off' for people. It's not because you're bad. Not at all. This is just how the entertainment industry works." And as the contract says, I can leave Twice before my contract ends. Basically, they want me to resign on my own will to protect JYPe's image. Doesn't mean they will completely leave me tho, but...... "It would be the best for all of us, Haeju. For you too. We hope you can understand that," He said.

Thanks to Raj Oppa, they end the meeting with a conclusion that the chairmen giving me another chance. He told them to trust me. Now I have two weeks! As, what Oppa said, I need to prove them that the fans still need me. Twice members still need me. Everyone does. Do they? Let's ask that question once again!

Nothing changes.

I do my best but I'm still me. The articles about me are still out there. People still treat me the same. This week makes me sure that no one needs 'Haeju' anymore. I wonder if JYPe will add another member after I leave. That might be interesting. A new adventure for Twice. New stories! New fun.....

Well, I cannot really say that nothing changes. I feel like Sana stops approaching me. She is still bubbly in general but.... More casual to me now. She is not trying to get close to me anymore. In fact, she is after Chaeyoung now. Or Dahyun? I'm not sure......... Different with Tzuyu. These days she likes to tease me. She becomes so annoying. I'm the target of her pranks now. I've told them a loooong time ago that I don't like that kind of stuffs. I wonder why she does that now. I feel like she is forcing herself to treat me like this. Why? Is it because I'm that boring now?

I feel like I have lost the people that I can share my feelings with. They change. All of them. I'm close to Raj Oppa these days. I tell everything to him, which makes a gap between me and the other members. I don't know why all of these things are happening. I guess Oppa was right for re-asking my decision to leave Twice. No need to wait for 2 weeks, now I'm sure what to do......

"I'm proud of you to make such a wise decision," Raj oppa encourages me before we enter JYP PD-nim's room. But it's already meaningless at this point. I enter the room and I tell PD-nim about my final decision. In the middle of our little talk, his secretary gives him the papers for me to sign. I take the pen that PD-nim hands me over. My hand is shaking.....

I sign them.

It's official now. Me, Ahn Haeju, is no longer the 10th member of Twice. This is the end. I hold my cry because I don't want them thinking that I regret my decision. Well, in fact, no tears can't come out from my eyes. PD-nim gives me some advices but I just can't listen to him. My mind is so blank right now. I just wanna go home and hurrily pack my bag. Tomorrow, I will leave the dorm. Start today I'm no longer a part of Twice.....

Raj oppa escorts me to the dorm. Before I come out of the car, he says something,"As expected, Haeju is a really nice girl. Haha.... It's been nice to know you." He seems...... Happy. I don't get it at first. But I guess he just doesn't want me to be sad. It's too late when I want to show my gratitude to him, I'm already dropped in the dorm and left.

It's midnight now so I think the members are already sleeping. I guess we can do the farewell thingy tomorrow morning. With the copy of the signed contract in my purse, I walk to the door. I feel like time goes slow. I take a deep a breath and comes in.

"Haeju! Where have you been?!"

I'm surprised that everybody's there. I ask them what they are doing and they say that they're doing a little group meeting. "Because the situation is so chaotic lately, we decide to spend a moment together. Full team," Jihyo says.

I sit on the empty spot on the couch, beside Mina.

"Now that Haeju is here, finally we're completed," Nayeon says.

"Right!"

"Yeah haha!"

I laugh along. I'm holding my purse so tight.

After that, Dahyun continues the story she has been telling before I come. Everyone looks happy that night. They support each other. Apparently.... Ah, I've known it for so long..... Twice is a strong group. Their friendship is so tight. Each individual is tough too. I'm sure they will be able to face any problems in the future without me and I'm glad to realize that. I feel a little bit guilty for leaving them all of sudden like this but, anyway, I need to tell them as soon as possible.

At the right moment, I take out the contract and give it to our leader. "What is this, Haeju?" She asks before reading it.

"I am sorry......." is the only thing I can say.

Jihyo reads it out loud that everyone can hear. I see everyone's shocked. But I know everyone sees it coming. They know the situation and, yet, each of them starts to get teary.

"But why.....?" Momo mutters.

I want to answer that but Tzuyu suddenly stands up and walks quickly to our room. 'BLAM!" She slams the door so hard until the wall is vibrating. We can hear the sound of the key locking. Tzuyu.......

And suddenly, Sana cries. Not just crying. Crying out loud. It's so loud that makes everyone cannot say a word. Sana.........
