Sana closes my room's door quietly and then sits beside me right away. There is no one's here except both of us.

"Have you done it, Sana?" I whisper to her.

"Yeah!" She looks excited to tell me what she has done. Just like what you've predicted, Haeju! Chaeyoung looked reluctant at first. She made up weird excuses to avoid me to take her go."

"But you succeeded, didn't you?"

"Of course!" Sana winks at me. "No one can't reject Sana! Haha..." she laughs. "So as you plan it, I will bring Chaeyoung go all day this afternoon and that's when.....?"

"....Mina had an appointment with her crush on TTF, the forum I've told you before," I say, "I knowww! I know I sound crazy, Sana. But if Mina's crush doesn't appear today, that means my theory is right!"

"Which is.....?"

"That Mina's crush in TTF is actually Chaeyoung in disguise!" I exhale deeply. "I'm afraid my theory is right.... But isn't it mean if Chaeyoung pretends to like Mina this whole time?? Mina takes her feeling too serious. It will be so sad if it's just a prank by Chaeyoung. I don't know what will I do if this is proven right, but we really need to give her a lesson for sure. Mina has changed 180 degrees! You have no idea what I've seen...." I say to Sana.

"Yeah, Haeju, let's do this together! I support you as long as.... You knowww....." Sana grins widely at me, "You will actually do what you promised to me yesterday, right right right???"

I close her lips with my index finger. "Oh my gosh, yes I will! Just don't talk about it yet. I'm embarassed!!!"

Sana chuckles. "Hehe... Okay, dear. Now I need to go, I can't be too long here. You don't want Chaeyoung knows that I'm plotting something with you, do you? Anyway, see you again later, cutie Jujuuuuuuuuuu!" Sana says after pinches my cheek.

"Aw, it hurts!" I say as I'm rubbing my face. My heart is still beating so hard after Sana leaves the room. I can't believe she asks me to do that. What a weird request! But it's okay, I just need to focus on Mina first. I don't want Mina's heart is slowly broken because of Chaeyoung. And in order to do that, I need to prove my theory. Mina deserves to know the truth before it's too late........

Right now Mina and I are in an alley that's not so far from our dorm.

Here is the place where Mina and her crush promise to meet. Mina is wearing a thick blue jacket, blue jeans, and a blue baseball cap she borrows from Momo. Meanwhile, I'm wearing a long white coat with a gray scarf. We success to escape the managers and come here just by ourselves. I'm actually kinda afraid that they will find us here, but I think there is something important to be concerned. From here I can see Mina's blank face. She looks so nervous. Maybe a little bit happy because I caught her smiling alone several times. Unfortunately, this day will be a hard day for her. After what we talk these last few days, I hope Minais ready for today.

"Haeju, hold my hand!" Mina asks.

I hold hers as I'm walking to the front of her.

"I'm sorry. I'm afraid we can't go further than this," She says as what we practice. That's the line that Mina is going to say today. "I'm really grateful to be your friend so far. I hope you can forgive me for anything I've done to you, intentionally or not. I'm gonna leave my TTF account start today, but it would be great to keep all these things a secret just between us."

"And the gift for him?"

"Yes, it's in my bag. Aww... I'm so nervous, Haeju." She laughs. "But don't worry, I've decided to do it no matter what happens. This the best thing I can do for both of us." Mina smiles. It's been a long time I see her smiling that genuine. I hope this is indeed the best thing to do for the sake of her feeling. "Is there any message from him?" She asks.

"Hmm... Let me check!" I take out Mina's phone from my pocket to check her TTF's inbox. "Nope. Just his message from yesterday," I say. We decide to let me bring her phone today to stop her texting him, just to make Mina feels at ease.

I'm actually surprised that Chaeyoung doesn't tell Mina to cancel the plan. She is with Sana now so she can't attend. Maybe it's not Chaeyoung after all. If Mina's crush is really a Once, I think it will be easier for her to move on. It will be more shocking for Mina to know that it's Chaeyoung all this time.....

"Why is he not coming yet?" Mina asking me. "Are you sure there is no message from him, Haeju? Maybe he is lost...."

"No, Mina, really not." It's already an hour since the time of the appointment. There is no sign of Chaeyoung yet. Or a man.

"Have you refreshed the page?" Mina asks me again.

"Yes, of course. I........ OH, THERE HE IS!" I point out someone's on the edge of the alley. Someone's in a black hoodie is approaching us. He is tall and thin. He keeps looking at the ground while walking, so I can't really recognize his face. I see Mina is as surprised as me.

"Oh!!! You........." Mina shouts.

What? Mina knows this guy? I try to squint my eyes. And as he is approaching, now I also know who this person is. Mina opens her hoodie bravely and finally I can see Momo's face that's smiling at us. "Momo!!?" I exclaim.

Momo glances at me and nods. "Hi, Haeju. Mina," she says while keep smiling.

"What are you doing here......." I can't continue what I say because Momo suddenly takes out her phone and shows it to Mina. When I peek what she shows to her, I see Momo is opening TTF page. She is showing that she is logged in with the account of Mina's crush. 

Mina opens ,"So you are......"

"Yes, Mina. That is me all this time....

And I also know that it's you who's talking to me in TTF. I just want to show that I really love you and... I guess you feel the same as I do," Momo explains. Mina steps back closer to me. She reaches my arm and holds it tight. Maybe she is as afraid as I am now.

"Wait, how about Chaeyoung?" I ask.

"Oh yeah, you are quite an observant, Haeju!" Momo continues. "Chaeyoung is indeed involved here. I ask her to watch you guys. She is my spy. I can't believe you make her can't meet Mina today hohoho.... It will be a big problem if I'm the one who's stopped by you," she says.

I'm really shocked to hear that. Mina is so close to Momo. She always talks about her. It's MiMo!!! I should've known that!

"Chaeyoung what? WAIT, YOU KNOW SOMETHING?!" Mina releases my arm and yells to me. "Why don't you tell me anything??"

I'm startled. "I... I am going to tell you today. I just need to prove......."

"I can't believe you tell nothing to me, Haeju!" Mina cuts me. "And you too, Momo! Why does everyone lie to me...." She exclaimes with teary eyes. She steps back a few steps from us.

Momo tries to approach her. "Okay, Mina. I know this may be surprising for you but let me....."

"MAYBE?? I AM SHOCKED, MOMO! You lie to me. You trick me! You make me fall in love for nothing. Do you have any idea how I'm struggling with this feeling?

You even confessed that you love me as him several days ago, WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN? I was sooo happy, Momo. I can't believe you are just playing with me. Why you do this........" Mina lowers her head and starts to cry. We become so quiet in listening to her crying. I feel so guilty. I have no idea what to do....

"Momo confessed?" I ask. "How can I not know that? Where did you guys chat??" 

Momo approaches Mina slowly. "Hey hey listen! I always mean it what I say to you, okay? Please don't cry...." Momo starts to sound trembling too. "Please just let me explain why I'm doing this..."

Mina raises her head. She glares at her deeply with eyebrows down, signing Momo to start explaining it all quickly.

Momo takes a deep breath. "This is all because I'm afraid, Mina," Momo holds Mina's shoulders tightly. "I'm afraid of losing you. This will be sound ridiculous, but I love you. Like for real! 

Don't you remember when we laughed together....

Don't you remember when we cried together.... Or when we played around.... When we trolled the members together.... Or when just two of us spent time together!

Don't you remember when you held my hand....

Don't you remember when we went to a restaurant together... You spoon-fed me.... I wiped your lips...

Don't you remember everytime I hug you, I always say that I love you. Or I miss you. I adore you....

Don't you remember that you say them all to me too?

I care for you, Mina! I always try to show what I feel step by step. For God sake, I know you are feeling the same!!!!

It's just... I know you will reject me since we are not meant to be together. People can't accept this kind of love that I have for you. I'm afraid the environment will affect you. So I disguise myself as a boy in TTF, just to prove that you actually love me back! And as you said it, you are! I'm really REALLY happy to hear that from you directly.

I promise, if you accept me, I will protect you no matter what. I will fight for this love! I never lie to you, dear. I won't. Ohh you have no idea how much I wanna kiss you right now!" Momo smiles to her while crying. Mina looks at her eyes, trying to understand everything she just heard. I think she is slowly convinced....

"NO, MINA!" I grab Momo's back and separate her from Mina. "That is not love!" I speak again, "I know what you are talking about, Momo, but... It's wrong! Love is not that trivial! Love is a general feeling. You don't have to cage love with a specific bond, such as a "lover". It's the friendship that's so strong that makes the feelings between you even stronger. But that doesn't mean you have to change your status from 'friend' to 'girlfriend'. It's just..... Wrong, okay!?" I'm stuttering but I force myself to continue speaking. I can't let it ends like this. "You still can love Momo as a best friend, Mina. Believe me, you don't want MORE than that." I look at her as she looks at me back. I know Mina is smart enough to understand what I'm saying.

It gets silence for a while until Momo starts to speak again. "Okay, maybe Haeju is right. But now it's your choice, Mina. It's the time for you to decide. Just for you to know, I'm ready for any of your answer. But I hope you are honest with yourself," she says before walks to stand beside me. I'm realizing that Momo and I are black and white, just like what we are wearing today. It's the two contradictory point of views that cannot be blended.

Mina looks so doubtful for a while. It must be so hard for her to decide. Deep down I know she loves Momo so much. I really understand that....

After a few seconds, Mina looks at both us and smiles. She walks toward me until her face is so close to mine. "You don't know anything about love, do you, Haeju?" She smiles. "As you just said, love is a feeling. And I'm sure enough what I feel here is love. Haah... I don't wanna lecture you too far,. This is too easy to choose anyway. I'm really sorry...." Mina says as she walks to Momo. I see she holds her hands.

Momo smiles. "So...?"

"I'm so sorry, Momo, I can't...." Mina says.

"What?" Momo sounds surprised. So am I.

"Yes, you hear me. Again, as you said, people can't accept our love yet. And maybe it will last for a long time. Meanwhile, we are public figures! We are not just Mina and Momo. We are owned by the people! By Jype, by Once, by Twice and by our family...."

"But we still can fight it! We don't have to lose to the situation. We still have plenty of time!"

"Haha..." From how she sounds, I think Mina starts to cry again. "Yes, we still have time, Momo. But how about we use it to move on? We need to continue life as it is... I guess, even as Twice, there are so many things that we can't get in this world...."

"But...."

"We are still a friend. Always. Aren't we? Don't worry, love doesn't change. Only people do....." Mina turns her back to me and grabs my hand. "C'mon, Haeju! We need to go back home."

Mina and I leave the alley. We keep walking until we finally find a taxi. We get into it, tell the driver where to go, and finally leave that road compcompletely feels like the time is so slow right now....

"Is it okay if we stop by a supermarket first?" Mina asks me to break the silence.

"Yeah, of course," I answer.

"By the way, I'm so sorry if somehow I offended you earlier..."

I'm touched by hearing that. "It's okay, Mina, it's okay," I hold her hand. "You've made a tough decision today. You are great. I hope you will be happy, that's all that matters now."

Mina looks at me and smiles. So do I. We realize that the sky turns dark. The temperature is so cold. I hold her hand tighter as she does it too. She leans her head on my shoulder and cuddles me on the way home.

"Thank you......."

Everything goes back to normal again.

Our cheerful pingu is back. She said that all her worries were already gone and she felt lighter this time. I can see she and Momo are taking their time to move on. They look awkward yet they are trying to get close again. It's just... Now the context has changed to be only friendship....

I appologized to Chaeyoung that I thought negatively about her. Since that, I'm not awkward to her anymore. In fact, Chaeyoung is a really fun person! We share a loooot of same interests, such as art, poetry, rap, and drama. She also made me some drawings. I'm happy that finally Chaeyoung and I could spend time together.

By the way, now I'm looking for Sana to grant what I've promised to her. Haah.... My heart is beating so fast right now. I open her room and see Sana and Nayeon inside. "Oh, Haeju! Wait a minute," Sana says as she is preparing the things she's going to bring.

Nayeon approaches me. "Wow, Haeju! I just heard it from Sana. How surprising...." She says me with a confused face. "Why suddenly you want to take a shower together with her?"

I'm speechless. If only anybody knows that I do this for Mina's case....

"It's okay, Haeju. You guys are so cute together. Haha!" Nayeon laughs. "Good luck!"

"Yeah I will.... Hehehehe"

"Haejuuuuuu I'm readyyyyy!" Sana exclaims. Looks like she is really ready with her towel, change clothes, some bath stuff, and a rubber duck??! Sana embraces me to make feel less awkward. "Let's have fun!"

I decide to hug her back. "Okay, Sana, let's do this!" I say before we're both going to the bathroom. Sana closes the door and.......................

"AAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE....!!!!!!!!"

It's been a long time since I write a long story again! Big thanks from me if you make it this far. I'm happy that people still show some interests in Haeju's story >.<

This time, as you can see, I'm trying to make a story with mystery as the genre. Well, kinda :p Originally the story was so much darker and gay than this. The characters were all evil and the plot had triple twists :O But then, I decided to direct it to a love story with a sweet ending, just like what you've read. I just realized this story has a sad ending because MiMo doesn't work well. Hmm... Maybe we can give Mina a new OTP next time ;)

Talking about OTP, the couples here are inspired by the 2nd and 3rd most popular ships in the Team Twice Forum. Those are MiMo and MiChaeng. Can you guess what's the 1st popular ship there? Haha yeah... It's SaTzu! The ship that we already "ruined" since the beginning of this fanfic lol! I feel a little bit guilty sometimes :)) By the way, feel free to request which ship you want Haeju to be involved with next time.
