Foreword
Stars were nothing but luminous spheres of plasma held together by it’s own gravity. That was it. Nothing more, nothing less.
But when I saw Taeyeon sitting on the ledge, holding her hands together, muttering a prayer, I began to wonder if there was anything more.
What was it that made her think a burning ball of hydrogen and helium would make her wishes come true? The correlation between hot gases and her hope and aspirations were nothing but idiotic.
One day I asked her. "Why do you wish upon the stars, when I'm here, and I'll love you?"
"The stars are going to be here for a very, very long time." She quietly replied. "Much longer than I'll be here. I'm just wishing for the both of us -- for you, when I'm gone."
I didn’t understand what she meant at the time.
