"HYUNG! "

N jerks awake, his eyes wide and his body trembling as he gasps for air to satisfy his burning lungs. 

"Hey, are you alright? "Leo asks, peeking into N's face when he heard a sudden sob. "Are you crying? What's wrong? "He demands worriedly, reaching out his hand to brush away the sweaty hair covering the leader's face and when he managed to get a clear view of his face, it's confirmed that N is crying. But why would he be crying when he was just sleeping peacefully a few seconds ago? 

"Did you dreamt of something bad, hyung? "Hongbin asks with a frown as he approaches them with a water bottle in his hand. "Come on, drink a bit. "He urge, tilting the water bottle against the leader's mouth, hoping that a little drink would help calm him down somehow but N didn't even get to have a gulp when all of a sudden, he starts throwing up.

"Hyung! "Hongbin drops his water bottle in favour of holding N while Leo rubs his back soothingly, still somewhat confused of what's happening. 

When he finally finishes emptying his stomach, N weakly pushes both of them away. "I'm fine. "He murmurs, slowly standing up and in the same time furiously wiping his tears while cracking a small smile. "I'm fine. "He repeats once more, more to convince himself than anything else and with a little glance at Leo and Hongbin and the rest of the members who've been staring in shock, he walks away from them. 

"What will you do if one day, I leave for my schedule and never return? "N blurts out one morning when the 6 of them are having a quick breakfast in their kitchen. 

"Huh? "5 faces turn to look at him with confusion written all over them. "What's that supposed to mean? "

N laughs and shrugs. "Who knows? "He mutters but his gaze is empty and his voice is somewhat strained, like he's holding back some sort of heavy emotion. 

"Are you planning to leave us? "Hyuk asks,staring at him. "Do you not want us anymore? Do you not need us anymore? "He accuse, sounding somewhat hurt and betrayed. 

"It's nothing like that. "N denies. "But fate and destiny are something we know nothing about and have no control on. "He says. "I'll never leave you voluntarily but if... just if... I had to leave, I hope you can--"

"Stop it, hyung. You're acting really weird. "Ken interrupts, slamming the toast he was eating back onto his plate. "Just what is wrong with you? "He asks and N just stares softly at him as an answer. 

"Yeah, hyung. You're really ... distant these days. What happened? "Ravi who has been keeping to himself finally  speaks up and N smiles. 

"Nothing happened, Wonshik-ah. Not yet any way. "he says as he stands up from where he was sitting. "Anyway... can I have a hug? "He requests, eyeing each of s. 

They're hesitant and a bit creeped out by N's behaviour but it is Leo who first throws his arms widely, pulling N into a tight hug. "I won't forgive you if you ever leave us. "The main vocalist says and N just chuckle . 

It's Ken who hugs the leader next, then Ravi, then Hyuk and lastly Hongbin. 

"Hyung, we've known each other the longest so you're not going to hide anything from me, right? "Hongbin asks quietly as he lets go of the hug. 

"Of course not. "N assures, finally picking up his bag to leave for his schedule. "Okay then, I'm already late.Thanks for the hugs, guys. "

"Come back soon, hyung. "

N smiles. "Take care, everyone. "

I'll come back if fate and destiny allows me to. But if they don't... 

"Goodbye, guys."

It's 4 hours later when fate and destiny finally reveal themselves. 

Their eldest hyung ... it turns out that he's not fated, not destinied to be with them to the very end.
