Description
In which an all-too-serious archer and heir to Interplex Co., Lee Jihoon, meets a simpleminded and ludicrous photographer, Kim Hyejin.
Chapter One (Preview)
His forehead glistened with sweat as he stared at the target.
At this point, the cheers from the crowd of the stadium the boy was in was irrelevant. His complete focus was to ace this shot. He rolled his shoulders back and cracked his knuckles to give relief to his very tense body. Taking deep breath, he took an arrow with a yellow vane from his quiver which was stationed to his right.
He stood straddling the shooting line and pointed his bow toward the ground, tipping it slightly clockwise of vertical and placed the shaft of the arrow on the arrow rest. He attached the back of the arrow to the bowstring with the nock. Making sure the three vanes were oriented such that a single vane is pointing away from the bow (to improve the clearance of the arrow as it passes the arrow rest), he lifted his bow off the ground and up. Then, pulling back, he closed his right eye and aligned his sight with the bullseye. The boy knew he had to make yellow if he wanted to win.
That’s when everything went downhill.

Author's Note:
I know, I know. I'm posting another fic. This fic is Jihoon-centric and is actually quite challenging for me. Lee Jihoon has always been my ultimate bias from Day 1 so I hope I portray him well. It's always been a peeve of mine when people portray him as this very cute and tiny boy and although he is like that in some situations, there's so much more to his personality. Personally, I think he's a cold person at first and then warms up to people. He keeps things bottled up and never complains. Jihoon doesn't lack emotions or fondness for others, it's just he has issues expressing them and instead, expresses how he feels through the lyrics he writes and the way he sings and dances. I was also heavily inspired by ISAC 2017 to make him an archer but to be a bit more cliche, I added in the rich heir concept. At least he's not a cocky one. I wanted to make this fluffy but I think there will be a lot of emotions and self-discovery and change in character. Hence, the inspiration from the song. The song has some sad vibes but I like to focus on how it's full of emotion, especially Woozi's part. I sincerly hope you enjoy this fanfiction and it's message. It won't be a long one.
