The Music Hall at 5th Gangnam Street
Description
Life in Seoul was different, it was a fast moving labyrinth of thoughts in the midst of city lights and loud
traffic car horns. Yet, it was easy to find new and old people. Song Eunbi although did not have a taste of
Seoul since she lived in Jeju Island all her life, separated from the main land by the Sea. But yet, she would
come visit her cousins in Seoul almost every Summer since she was 14.
"Seoul! Seoul! Yay!" Eunbi would exclaim as she excitedly walked through the door at her cousins' place,
where her family was going to stay for the entire summer.
The only cousin Eunbi had was Yoo Ha, her older sister who lived in the dark house with their grandmother in
the Gangnam district of Seoul.
"Eunbi, would you like to accompany me to Music Hall for watching Kpop live performances tonight? I have
two tickets and I thought it would fun to go watch together," Yoo Ha walked in, greeting Eunbi's parents and
asking her to come with. She knew what little middle schoolers of the 21st century enjoyed.
"Haha yay! Sure"
Little did she know, the Music Hall down the 5th gangnam street in Seoul would lead her to experience
one of the most mysterious labyrinths existing in Seoul, creating more reasons for her to visit Seoul every
year. But indeed she was way too young that summer to identify what it meant. Jeon Wonwoo.
Foreword
A bunch of seoul teenage girls burst outside the Music Hall after the concert, crying and laughing about
the many experiences all in a blunder, in the midst of which Eunbi lost hold of Yoo Ha's hand that she
held onto before the crowd separated them.
"Unnie?" Eunbi circled around the area in the crowd, scared. She tried her best to find her sister in the
midst of all the fangirls around.
The street right outside the Music Hall was crowded enough to not get enough space to breath and with
all the exclaims and screams of the fangirls, Eunbi found herself hopefully in the middle, alone. She couldn't
find her sister in a town she had never been to before and burst out crying as she looked around trying to find
her sister.
"Unnie!" she yelled but was not audible in the crowd. Was this the labyrinth she was expecting to experience
in Seoul? Eunbi being half the size of most girls because of being younger as well as her short genes, struggled to identify the only known person she was aware of in the city.
"Hey hey," appeared a mysterious man, wearing a simple polo tshirt and jeans. He was more than twice her
size and was watching her since the past 5 minutes. "What's the matter?" he sat down on the ground to match
the little girl's height.
"I've never seen any girl crying after a concert in such sorrow," he laughed as he talked to Eunbi who listened
while weeping.
"I lost my Unnie," she said to him as he patiently listened to her rant. She forgot how her mom had told her
not to talk to strangers. Especially in a town she has never been to. Who knows? She might fall in love.
Hello! It's riyoko again with my second Seventeen fanfic, the Music Hall
at 5th Gangnam Street. As you must have figured form my previous stories as well,
I am a er for male lead's name taking a feature in the title of the story.
Do check out the rest of my stories if you follow Seventeen, BTS or EXO:
Behind the scenes of Joshua Hong
The Private Life of Vernon Chwe
Every group I make a fanfic on has a different concept. For my BTS fics, all have
fantasy/out of the world kind of an experience for the readers I try to employ.
But for my Seventeen fics, I am trying to keep the personalities of the characters
(Especially the members of Seventeen) as realistic and belivable as possible. So
I'm going for more of a realistic approach that is easier to imagine in my Seventeen
fics than the previous ones, as these are far easier to picture with the real seventeen
members. Thank you for reading. Hope you enjoy!
