Read an excerpt (Chapter 11):

The dissonant sound of metal on metal dragged Jonghyun from his ragged sleep. In front of him stood a young blond man holding handcuffs and a key. He was more beautiful than any man Jonghyun had ever seen and immediately forced Jonghyun's heart to an irregular pace.
The man was burnt, his pale skin charred by the bright sun above, but in all the right places that he looked flushed, rather than discolored. His blond hair was an oddity, but beautiful, for it emphasized his warm brown eyes and young face. His features were exceptionally kind, as if he had never told a lie. Yet, he wore them like a mask, in that he frowned and glared at Jonghyun, in a manner that looked wholly inappropriate for his face.
His body too was mesmerizing, so slender yet muscular, toned in the right places. He wore a tanktop which exposed his burnt shoulders and long pants which emphasized the length of his legs. Jonghyun wanted to reach out and pull him in, to tell him who he was and ask for adoration. Yet, it was he who was in prison, not the man. For once, he wasn't the one in charge. Terror started to pull at his heart as he realized that this beautiful man could destroy him.
"Good morning," the man whispered, curt yet with a pinch of sultriness. Jonghyun scurried to the back of his cell, his peasant clothes gathering dust from the ground. Self-consciously, he smoothed his hair down and wiped his face on his sleeve. It didn't help that he could smell the rank of a showerless night hovering around him.
"Good morning," the man repeated again, this time with more anger.
"Good morning," Jonghyun replied, voice disguised. He almost introduced himself, but refrained. If this man knew he was the king of Aragon, he would be brought to jail and exiled. Or ransomed. If he didn't know, there was a chance of escape.
"My name is—" the man refrained as well. "That doesn't matter. What matter is that you...are my prisoner." He lifted his voice at the end, Navarran accent deep. Jonghyun's gut twisted.
"You should free me!" Jonghyun blurted, then cursed himself. This was not the time for outbursts.
"And why should I?" The man asked, almost flirtatiously. "You're...mine." He smiled, wicked.
"I am—" Jonghyun decided to speak informally, lest be seen as a big prize. "I'm no use in here."
"You're right," the man replied, pushing his body against the bars. Definitely teasing. "What can I do with you...in there?"
Jonghyun's heart pulsed. He felt his blood start to grow heavy. The way this man's chest pressed against the bars, so that Jonghyun could see the planes of his stomach, made his throat dry. The man's casual smirk was like the crash of the ocean. "No-no-nothing," he stammered.
"I'll tell you what," the man beckoned Jonghyun closer. "Come here, I don't bite."
As if entranced, Jonghyun moved toward the bars, where the other pressed his face up. He smelled like flowers. And he was close. Too close, yet not close enough.
"You give me a kiss, I let you go."
    "A kiss?"
"Mmmhmmm..." Jonghyun watched the man's eyes trace his face. "You're cute. I'm cute. We both win."
Jonghyun leaned forward, craving the taste of sin.

Foreword

Hi, guys!
This is my first attempt at writing a series, so hopefully it'll be alright. (:
I plan to update this fic weekly.
If you didn't catch it before, check out the excerpt above ^^^^

Please remember to subscribe, share, and comment. I don't have anything written before it's published, so your comments can definitely influence the storyline. If you think I should publish to an additional website, let me know, and I'll look into it.

Cheers!
