Marry Your Daughter [epilogue]
Uh, sorry guys, i broke your hearts from the previous chapter,
it wasn't the real ending.
Here's the real ending....
Marry Your Daughter...
2 years later…
A certain tall woman is soundly sleeping outside her little palace, in a rocking chair. An air brushes suddenly hardly to her face, waking her up. She yawns and checks her time; 9am. She’s been sleeping for almost two hours already outside her house, with a book on her hand. In the ground are pieces of waste oranges, which she eats a lot these past days. If one could spot her everyday doings, she would be suspected to be pregnant but, she’s nearly alone in her house because of her partner’s business trip.
“Aigoo… why am I being too sleepy these days?” she scratches her neck and stood to proceed to her house. She sighed when she forgot to clean the mess in the living room.
/ring~ ring~ ring~
“Oh Gosh!” she quickly run upstairs when she heard loudly her phone in her place.
Arriving in her bedroom, she quickly answered the phone call.
“Umma!!!” she exclaimed, picking up the magazines to put it in back in the coffee table.
“I’m sorry… I didn’t notice the time… yeah… it’s been… 10 days now, I guess… you kidding right, umma?” she yelled her last words while now grabbing her clothes to throw it in her bed, choosing on what she’s going wear for the day.
“Umma… I guess… it’s not. But… of course… I would really love it…. oh okay, don’t bother… I’ll be in 30mins. I love you too umma. bye,” she then ended the call and put her finger to her chin. “hmm… I guess… this would do.” She then pick up the dress that she thinks she would look pretty and nice.
After changing, she locks the door in her house and quickly steps inside her car and drove off.
“I have 30 mins. Left… yeah… I should speed up more. Or my wife will going to kill me for being late.” She told herself, pressing the gas pedal to speed off.
As she expected, she nearly got beaten the time. She’s 5 minutes early though before she could see her wife.
She scanned the place over and over again while holding a bouquet of flowers to her right hand. “She should be here now.” She disappointedly pouted and decided to sit on a nearby bench.
She looks at the flowers and smiled unconsciously when she remembers her wife, giving her the same flowers on their first week as married couple.
She rolled her eyes when she remembers their 4th week; her wife always serenades her with love songs. She flips her hair when she remembers their 6th week, her wife always cooks her favorite goguma with different styles and she face palm when her mind remembers their 9th week; her wife always gives her cheesy lines while the latter is being apart from her.
“I wonder how much you’ve change now. 5 months in a business trip… I hate you!” she punches the plastic that covers the flowers out of her disappointment.
Glancing on her wrist watch, it reads; 10:05am. “She’s 5 minutes late.” She mutters, resting her chin to her palms.
“OMG!!! She’s here!!!”
“Yah!!! Step aside. We need a cover”
Without any warning, She was being pushed rudely by one of the reporters, causing her to fell in the floor. Not only that, with a lot of reporters crowding the arrival area, one of the reporters had accidentally steps on her right toe—causing her to slightly scream in pain.
“Ahh… “ she escape a slight wince, clutching into her toe.
“Bring your camera out!”
She was about to stood when a reporter pointed at her. As if the reporter knows her. She pointed herself, looking in disbelief to the reporter before her. “Me?”
“Yeah you… you look… “ the reporter look at her closely, trying to process her image even for her no-make-up and she had a cap on.
Realizing that the reporter had already recognizes her; she immediately brings her cap closer to her face and covered her head with her hood before running for her life.
“Isn’t that… “The reporters quickly run after the girl they saw, realizing who they just saw.
Whoa! It’s good to be back. 5 months of being away for a business trip is finally over.
2 years ago, exactly the day today, a car accident had place its history in Korea. A wedding nightmare that they call was the talk of the town for almost a month.
But what am I doing here?
Do you want to know why?
Because I and my wife didn’t let go as we promised. But my legs had a mark from the accident, thankfully and doctors didn’t advice to cut it and I just had therapies to have my legs back its normal.
As for my wife, she had a month of amnesia. It was our first week as a married couple in the hospital when I found about it. It’s quite hard to believe but I have to accept, I need to be strong, I should gain back my wife’s memories, so I decided to give her flowers every day and everything that she use to see to me and foods that she use to eat. Talk to her with our memories together as a friend, girlfriend, fiancé and even wife.
Actually, I’m the only one she didn’t remember that time. Doctors said that my wife’s current memories were only when she had times with her family. At first, I can’t accept it, but later on, I realize why I should experience that. Love doesn’t only depend on memories; it should be feeling it too, from your partner. So it didn’t stop me until had I gained back her memories and I nearly fainted when she recalls all our memories together. The 7 reasons why I love her, she still memorizes it. My love for rilakkuma, which I don’t know if I still love him.
Everything, she had recall it, when I asked it one by one.
But what made me shed tears with her reminisce when…
“Yoona… we made it... I’m sorry… I’ve been helpless… “She embraces me and the next thing I heard from her? The memories we had from our wedding. She keeps on crying when she remembers it all. She can’t believe that she’s still alive and still remembers the promise we had and of course she’s thankful that we made it together. Even for the consequence.
It all came back with a flash to her mind and… from her heart. She asked me a lot of things from the previous events that she misses. To keep her company, I had to chat with her all night just to keep her catch up the things she misses. But it’s all worth if you are doing it… to the one… you love.
Oh about our good friend Minhyuk, he had his left arm broken with the accident. Compared to us, he got more scars from the accident. I thought we’re going to lost him, but I think his more braver than us.
Anyway, that’s the past…
Look where my family is right now? Kim Corp. and Kwon Internationals are now ‘Yoonhyun’ Internationals after its merging. The biggest company had ever made by two of the biggest company 2 years ago. Why it’s yoonhyun? Seriously speaking, it’s because after the wedding, all articles were about our accident. They named it ‘Yoonhyun’s wedding nightmare’. Nightmare, yeah, they call it nightmare, but I call it ‘life changing’. Because that day, it gives me more courage and gives me more ideas on our next lifetime to be as married couple, it gives me a forward look out in what’s ahead to us. Without that accident, I don’t think I can still be proud with my relationship with my wife now.
That’s the biggest thing that happened to our lives. Although at first, I questioned God for always giving us a hard time, in the end, I still thank Him, because he did make my wife’s dream came into reality. And every challenge was not the reason I should give up. Because I know at the end of the day, all good things will come into your way.
Just continue with our life together as Mrs. Kim-Kwons. I have to say, that a lot changes when we had that accident. My wife, after that nightmare, she became more fearless now. I thought she’ll have a phobia or so after that, but it’s different, I can see how she always does things with more care now, doing things with much knowledge and always giving me a strong character. But besides that, she’s sweeter than me now. Whereas for me? Uh, just ask my wife.
I chuckle to myself remembering it all.
The Kims together with Tae umma were now living the same neighborhood with my family. As I and my wife had only a temporary house in Seoul with our little palace still in Gwangju. As what we have decided, we will only have our weekend life in Gwangju and weekdays in Seoul. Though I like to go home every day in Gwangju, my wife would always complain my exhaust face every time I went home, so at the end, we have decided to buy a penthouse in Seoul, Big enough for the two of us. What happen to my wife’s penthouse? We leave it empty; we wanted a good start as a married couple so we decided to move.
I’m a bit selfish though, coz I convinced my wife to live 2 miles away from our families. You can’t blame me, I wanted some privacy with my wife. Hehe
For our unnies? Nicole and Hyo unnies were now officially dating, I think 8 months now. Yeah, that’s how long they are now. And let’s not forget Soosun couple. They are engage now for 2 months. My sister amber and krystal, I don’t know with them, I just always spotted them together then Sulli, aigoo… Tae umma, she’s so protected with her youngest too. Sulli can’t even go out with her friends even for its weekend. Tae umma always gives her study session. I bet, she wanted Sulli too to be the next genius like her eldest. Oh! Speaking of parents, Yuri umma and Jessica umma just had their 2nd honeymoon too after I had with my wife. And… speaking of my wife… where she is now? She’s 15 minutes late.
“Aish! Where the hell is this sleepy girl?” I hissed, scanning my surroundings. I saw some reporters around, but thankfully, my sunglass and my hood is a help for me to cover myself.
My mood suddenly drops when someone had accidentally bump into my right hand, dropping the paper bags that I am holding. Somehow, this scene is familiar to me.
“Yah!” I yelled to the person in the ground. “Look what you’ve done. You should pay for this. This is all for my wife.” I hissed, trying to catch her attention. She’s still at the ground, clutching on her…
She winced, to my surprised as I quickly look at her toe. Oh gosh, her toe has swollen. How careless is this young woman.
She slowly turned to the source of the voice while clutching her toe and positioned herself for a sit.
“Miss, why are you running?” the girl bends over and check on her toe. “Don’t worry, it’s just small.”
Unknown to the doe-eyed girl, Seohyun is giggling inside when her wife doesn’t recognize her with her cap and hood on. Although she can’t recognize her wife’s image too, the voice of her wife is recognizable. While giggling, her heart flutters too, because even for her wife doesn’t recognize her, the doe-eyed girl shows her kindness’ She played along and pretended to winced in pain again.
“Ahhh!!!” she screamed.
“Omo, does it really hurts?” the doe-eyed girl concernedly asked. If it’s her wife in the position, she would immediately lift up the girl, but she’s not—as what she thinks.
“Yeah… a-a… bit.” Seohyun reply in a low voice, preventing herself to be discovered.
“Alright, I’ll just give you some first aid he—“the doe-eyed girl didn’t even finish her sentence when Seohyun had prevented her to get up, by holding on her forearm.
“Yah!” The doe-eyed girl abruptly let go of Seohyun’s hand. “What are you doing?” she scoffed, nearly hits the girl of what she assume as a fan.
Seohyun stayed silent and just smirked. The latter didn’t miss it and didn’t think twice to show her ring, right in Seohyun’s face.
“I’m married. Can’t you see it? I’ve been married for 2 years now… and… for your information, today Is our 2nd anniversary.”
Seohyun chuckles and somehow, finding herself amuse. That’s how her wife is declaring her marriage to a stranger, giving her idea to Yoona’s change over their 2 years as married couple.
Yoona arch her eyebrows, the way the girl in front of her chuckles, reminds her of someone. “Miss—“
“I’m married too.” Seohyun cut off, showing her ring in front of Yoona.
“Omo, why do we have the same rings?” Yoona innocently asked, still can’t get a clue from her wife. The latter rolled her eyes under her sunglass.
“Still the Yoona.” Seohyun quickly covered her mouth what she just blurted.
“What did you just said?” Yoona questioned, keeping herself closer and closer to her wife’s face.
“I didn’t say anything.” Seohyun replied with much lower voice, back away from Yoona’s advancement.
“YAH—“ Yoona abruptly pulled off the cap without pulling down the hood in her wife’s head. “Seohyun?” she yelled to confirm that it’s her wife all along.
“hehe… “ Seohyun grins, giving her wife a wink just when she pulled down her sunglass.
“Aish!” Yoona hissed. “I almost hit you, didn’t you know that?”
“Ah!” Seohyun suddenly wince, causing Yoona to look at her toe again. “Ugh, it hurts Baby… “ she added, clutching her knee.
“Where did you get this?”
“From the reporters. I-I… was… accidentally got pushed earlier.”
Yoona sighed. She doesn’t even know how to handle those reporters now. They are getting worst in her observation. She clenches and hissed. For 2 years, she’s been treated like she’s a superstar or something just to asked about how her relationship going with her wife.
“Omo, Baby… it’s alright. I’ll be fine.” Seohyun tried to reach for her wife’s hand but was snap away.
“Who would love to see someone got hurt with their attitude like that?” Yoona angrily stated, she stood and scanned her surroundings, hoping that she can spot any reporters around.
“Baby, stop it!” Seohyun tried to stand up but when she put her right toe in the ground, she unbalanced and luckily Yoona had caught her by her waist.
Series of flashes from the camera instantly was heard, earning the couple’s attention. “What the—“
“Stop. Enough, okay?” Seohyun hold her wife firmly, stopping the angry doe-eyed girl in place. “Let’s go home already.” She huskily said, rubbing Yoona’s arms—in attempt to calm her wife.
“Baby, I don’t know… but seriously, if can’t control myself? I would’ve killed them already. Aish!” Yoona breathed heavily, biting her lower lip. She angry as hell to still heard some clicks around, but they can spot any.
Seohyun smiled, wrapping her two arms to Yoona’s neck. “Let’s just go home. Please?” she whined, running her fingers to Yoona’s hair. “We had prepared something for you.” She winks, knowing exactly that her wife will give in right away with her loving gestures.
Yoona rolled her eyes. As usual, her nerves would calm down every time her wife does it for her. For two years, she saw her reserve wife becoming more seductive now. But not in sexy way, but in a cute way, making her flinch always.
With a defeated sigh. Yoona slips her two arms too to her wife’s waist. “Fine… let’s go home now. But give me this moment first.” She smirked and quickly captured Seohyun’s lips but the latter had pulled away quickly, to her disappointment.
“Not here.” Seohyun whispered.
“It’s our 2nd anniversary; can you just give me this?” Yoona groaned, stomping her feet.
“Aigoo… still so childish?”
Yoona nods innocently.
“I’m not giving it.” Seohyun firmly said and attempted to let go, only to get pulled and find herself in Yoona’s arms now.
“Yah! What are you doing?” Seohyun complained, keeps on slapping her wife’s two shoulders. Her wife just lifted her in a bridal style.
“Going home.” Yoona winks. “Oh, Minhyuk-sshi… nice… you’re here too. Go grab my things. Thanks in advance.” She immediately asked Minhyuk seeing the guy is approaching them, just when she started to walk.
“You bought this?” asked the younger girl, observing every corner of their new car. She yawns again, out of the blue.
“Yeah… wait… sleepy again?” being aware of her wife’s behavior this past, Yoona is getting more concerned with her wife’s condition.
Seohyun nods with half eyes. “I’ve been sleeping a lot these past 10 days.” She counted. “And I’ve been… craving for tangerines. Oh gosh! Baby… we should stop by the market first. I know someone who can give me the sweetest tangerines there. You know what? I eat a dozen earlier.” She exclaimed, clasping her two palms.
Yoona arches her eyebrows, weird to say, but she feels her wife is quite a shikshin too. “You’re not… sick right?”
Seohyun glares, leaning her back on her seat with a thud.
“I mean, look at you… you’re gaining weight. Have you been… taking pills too?”
“YAH! KIM-KWON YOONA!”
Yoona forcedly stops the car to hear her wife’s loud voice. “I’m sorry… okay, I’m just worried. You look… “
“I hate you.” Seohyun sighed in defeat and let herself sleeps again.
Yoona look at her wife for the last before starting the engine again. “This girl is weird.” She mutters, chuckling to herself.
Oh Lord, please knock the head of this clueless girl. I can’t believe her. I give her hints already and she still can’t get it. Why on earth I have a wife that has a slow pick up? Why did I marry this girl? aish!
“Yah! what’s happening to you?”
I quickly compose myself after ruffling my own hair. “Nothing. Just focus there.” I coldly said and decided to nap again, but when I was about to close my eyes? I heard the radio opens, and a song called ‘twinkle’ opens it. Decided not to entirely sleep and just listened to the music while leaning my back.
“You know this song? I love that girl who has a line ‘sowon’. She’s hot.” I forcedly opened my eyes when I heard the word ‘hot.’ Does my wife cheating me?
“Yah! YOONA! are you cheating on me?” I frankly asked which made her arch her eyebrows.
“Then what if I am?” she grins.
I bit my lower lip, suppressing my anger as I glared to her. I wanted to answer her but I got tongue tied all of a sudden. “Aish!” I hissed and went back to my seat.
“You were jealous?”
“To the singer?”
She chuckles and stops the car on the side.
“She’s just a friend. Come on, you’re hotter. That maknae of the group is nothing compared to you.” She tried to reach on my hand but I snap it away.
“One more attempt, I will step out to this car.” I warned. With her clueless to my condition right now, and her admiration to that singer, it adds my headaches I am feeling. I’m so giggling to slap Yoona for being so clueless right now, but I have to hold it in first. I still have plans for our 2nd anniversary. This can wait. Seohyun, your patience.
“Fine… “ she defeated surrender her two hands in the air. “By the way, I have good news and bad news.” here goes her news again, which I really don’t care. “Bad news is… “
“I am only a week here.” as what I expected.
“Then?” I muttered, not caring to look at her.
“You don’t care?” she surprisingly raises her voice.
“What else there is to care.” I nonchalantly said. Showing no emotions.
“Baby… you should care… be—“
“Baby, you’re always doing this. Only a week in Korea, and going again for another business trip. Come to think of it? how many times you’ve left me? for our entire 2 years being married. You’ve been busy with business here and there… me? at home.” I said without any pause. I can’t take it anymore. She should know by now. My feelings towards her over busy life. Even for I understand it, she should know that she’s forgetting me.
“What do you mean by that? Are you mocking me?” she asked, staring at me intensely.
My eyes begins to feel water , hinting for tears. “I am not. I’m just telling you what I feel… baby… I know we made a promise. But… “
“So… I guess… you don’t want to know the good news then.” She sarcastically said.
“I’m sorry… I’m just… really… emotional these days.” I said as I matter of fact. Calm down Seohyun. It’s not good for you. I decided to sat back on my seat and wipes the tears that finally drops in my eyes.
Yoona was silent; instead she steps out and sat the hood of the car. I shouldn’t have told her what I felt. I guess I hurt her. But what I can do? I just told her what I felt.
“Alright, I guess it’s time.” I mutter and steps out from the car too, sitting beside her.
“I’m sorry. It’s my fault too. I’ve been too busy that I forgot about you. But we still talk in skypes.” She reasoned just when I sat besides her. Skype? Yeah, only in skpe.
“Baby… it’s still different if we always talk and see each other personally.” I reply, more like a whisper.
“I know… I know.” She said, facing me already. I smiled slightly and hold her hand firmly. “Okay I promise, this is going to be the last… I will not entertain business trips now. I’ll let other do it.” she sweetly said, and I just slightly smiled at her. Her she is again, being so sweet. But who wouldn't love it? she's the sweetest wife i've ever known.
“What’s the good news then?” I asked, looking at her, ignoring our fight earlier.
Out of a sudden, she pulled me by my waist so that I’m closer to hers. “You’re coming with me.” she announces with a sweet smile.
I literally look at her with wide eyes. Can’t believe what I just heard. “B-Baby… are-are… you serious?”
she nods, smiling brightly. “Yep.”
“For how many months?” I asked, afraid that I might end up living in a foreign country.
“9 months.” She simply said.
“Omo! Baby… I don’t think I can… “ I refused to. 9 months, that means...
“What why?” she asked it me puzzled.
“Baby because… I’m pregnant.” I said in a low voice, blushing hardly. Fiddling, anticipating hearing Yoona’s reaction.
“It’s… its difficult… wait--What? Is that all you can say?” I nonchalantly yelled in disbelief. I thought she would quickly rejoice or something, but it’s in another way around. What’s happening to her?
“Why?” her expression is completely blank. Ugh, why SLOW?
“Yah! stop being so innocent. I’m P-R-E-G-N-A-N-T. Pregnant. For 10 days now.” I even spelled just to get my wife’s understanding of the word. I clench in my annoyance of her innocent look.
Yoona recall the word again. Having a hard time to understand the word. She arches her eyebrows and look at her wife’s tummy.
“Baby… pregnant… as in… a child… a daughter, son… in your… tummy?” she asked, to confirm what’s finally building in her mind.
Seohyun ruffled her hair and nods. “Our… first child.” She mumbles.
“Wait… let me understand this. You… are pregnant… with unborn child in your tummy. By whom? I mean, who’s the father? I’ve been away for 5 months… it’s-it’s… impo—“
“YOONA! Stop it. This is yours. Remember? Before you went for a business trip, we made it for the… 3rd time.” Seohyun whispered the last 2 words, blushing when she mentioned it. “… and just 10 days ago… I finally confirmed it.”
Yoona’s tears quickly drops while chuckling. She stared at her wife in disbelief. She’s an appa now. After 2 years of being married. They finally made it. Can’t put her happiness, she jumps off and…
“WOOOHOOOO!!!!!” she screamed. “I’M APPA NOW!!!”
“YAH! MISS… I’m appa now. Yeah… OH MY GOSH!!!”
“Late reaction.” Seohyun mutters, snickering with her wife’s antics.
The couple stops by their parent’s house before going home to celebrate their 2nd anniversary. Taeyeon and the rest of the family can’t believe that Yoona is acting so weird just when they arrived.
“Honey, what’s happening to your wife? She’s been treating you… all nice. Did you… “
Seohyun nods to her umma. She looks at her wife in the living room and smiled when the latter is being so hyper.
“Tch. You just can’t wait, right?” Taeyeon patted her daughter’s hand and squeezes it gently.
“I was out in my mind earlier umma. I give her hints already, and she just… acts innocently. I guess I love my fiancé more than my wife now.” Seohyun giggles, realizing that her fiancé Yoona, back then is much attentive than now.
“You’re not kidding?”
“I am not. Look at her. I thought she’ll mature more with us being married. She’s like a 10 year old now. Umma tell me… did I marry the kid version of Yoona?” Seohyun asked jokingly. Having been together with her wife for 2 years straight, she witness all the changes that latter is showing. From being a choding to a more responsible woman, from being a hot temper, although she is still—the latter is holding back it now. But the childish Yoona is still there.
Taeyeon just laugh with her daughter’s remarked and can’t help but to drink in one gulp her water.
“Oh, Tae umma… You grow a little.” Yoona suddenly pops-out out of nowhere, causing Taeyeon and Seohyun to looked up the latter in surprised.
“Yah! Yoona! I’m al—“
Yuri, Tiffany and Jessica who were in the living room, widened their eyes. Their visions were lock to Yoona’s sight outside in the garden. She’s on her knee, in front of Taeyeon and on her side is her wife, froze on her spot.
They all gulp in when Yoona slowly places her right hand to her pocket and slowly pulling out something.
“Baby… what… “
With a warm smile, Yoona look at her wife and to Taeyeon. She held out the thing in front of Taeyeon and opens it. inside was a ring.
“Mrs. Kim Taeyeon… for the 2nd time… can I formally, ask your blessings… to marry your daughter?”
Taeyeon stood, staring at Yoona under her in disbelief. She didn’t see it coming. How would a 10 year old kid, suddenly asked again for the 2nd time? Can she allow it? it would be another chaos if she doesn’t allow though.
“Yoona… once is enough.” Taeyeon reasoned.
“I know… I’m doing this because, I wanted to give my wife the best wedding, without any... of those… nightmares… doing this will serve as our moving on… I wanted to create a much more memorable wedding; I wanted to erase that nightmare... I am not planning to marry my wife in a grand ceremony. I just wanted to be simple.” She said sincerely. “I love my wife so much, that I’ll do everything just to see her smiles everyday… Tae umma.” she ended with hopeful eyes.
Seohyun, who has been listening to her wife’s speech can’t help but to cry and held on her wife’s right hand. The latter look at her with a loving gaze.
“If that’s what you want… then… I am giving you my blessings… for the 2nd time around. You can marry her over and over again… just as long, you can still have the guts to propose right in front of me.”
Yoona and Seohyun stood to embrace warmly their Tae umma. “Wait… let me see you sliding the ring in your wife’s finger.”
The couple chuckles and pulled away from the embrace in an instant. They look at each other first before looking down to their fingers.
Slowly, Yoona put the new ring in Seohyun’s right hand, instead in left since it has their wedding ring from the first wedding. After doing so, they wrap their arms to each other while enjoying the warm embrace. For the 2nd time, they’ll make it happen again, but, without those nightmares anymore. With their undying love, no one can stop them from doing so.
Instead of going home, Seohyun drives the car to another way, to Yoona’s curiosity. She tried to asked but the younger girl is not answering. In defeat, she decided to nap and just let the girl drive until they reach their destination.
Pulling over, Seohyun checks on the time; 9pm. Before she took a glance to her wife on her side.
“Baby, we’re here.” she gently shook her wife’s arms, to wake her up.
“Hmm… we’re here?” Yoona yawns in an instant, spreading her entire arms widely. “Baby… it’s-it’s… “
“The same beach that we always love… Star gazing? Mrs. Kim?”
Yoona chuckles and unbuckled her wife’s seatbelt before she does it for her, as they steps out from the car.
Yoona didn’t know how to say when she was met by a white piano along with a mini picnic blanket just besides the piano. She was mesmerized, can’t believe that her wife had prepared it all for their 2nd wedding anniversary. All she had thought the moment she land earlier in Seoul was only a simple dinner because she didn’t had a time to prepared for it. Expect the unexpected, indeed. Because for the 2nd time, it’s Seohyun who prepared for it. She felt ashamed all of a sudden, because she can only say ‘thank you’ afterwards.
Turning her head on her back, she smiles to see her wife approaching her with a cake in her hand.
“Whoa! You really did prepare again?” Yoona asked, supporting her wife to sit in across her in their picnic blanket.
“I told you right? it’s my turn.” Seohyun beams, lighting the candles in their cake.
Yoona was silent; she stared at her wife lovingly, dazed by the beauty. Unconsciously, she smiled to see her wife’s beautiful eye smiles. The light from the candle made it more fluttering for her when Seohyun pouted, without glancing towards her.
My Angel, how I love to see… your everyday smiles. Yoona thought. “Please don’t stop giving it to me.”
Seohyun’s gaze immediately landed to hers when she heard her wife’s mumbles. “Hmm?”
“Nothing… can we have our cake now?”
Complying obediently, Seohyun bring the cake in the middle of them, locking their gazes in an instant.
“Happy 2nd Anniversary!” they said in unison—locking gazes, before they blow the two candles together.
Unconsciously, they slowly close the gap of their lips and shared a 20 seconds passionate kiss.
Lying side by side, they hold hands while star gazing. Like the last time, Yoona made another 7 reasons why she and Seohyun should stay together happily married. It was all cheesy that Seohyun can’t help but to hug her wife on her arm.
They chat a lot and sing together with the piano behind them. Harmonizing their heart with the melody that sooth’s their hearts.
“I wonder how she or he looks like.”
“I mean our child.”
Seohyun hold on Yoona’s hand and place it in her tummy. “Do you feel it?”
“Eh? I can feel it now?”
“Oh, okay.” leaning her head, Yoona gently put her ear in her wife’s tummy. She faintly smiles and blinks twice. She can’t yet feel it, but she knows there’s an unborn child in her wife’s tummy. A little one that she can be proud of.
“Baby… do you want to name our child already?” Seohyun suggested, running her fingers through Yoona’s hair. Being a mother, she can’t help not to think of any name they can give to their child. She’s excited and happy for the new addition for their lives.
“Hmm… what about… Yoong?”
“Yah! It’s your nickname, how can you give that?” Seohyun playfully slap Yoona's arm, earning her wife's grins.
Yoona slowly recheas for her wife's hand, squeezing it gently. “Oh, okay… what about mix of our names? Like the name of our company? Hmm… Yoonhyun?” she suggested.
“I don’t think it’s right… let me think too… hmmm… what about… Hyun… Yoona… uh, HyunA… Hyuna?” arching her eyebrows, Seohyun pouted towards her wife.
“Hyuna?” Yoona arches her eyebrows, starting to love the name.
Seohyun nods, beams with her choice of name.
“If it’s a boy? Then what is it?” the doe-eyed girl looked up to met her wife’s loving gazes.
“What about… Seo… Yoona… Yoon-seo?” Seohyun shamely suggested.
“That would be cool.” Yoona agrees innocently, lying back next to her wife. “I’m excited to see my child.”
“I’m more excited.” Seohyun stick out her tongue.
“Fine, I won’t argue.” Yoona stated, pulling her wife for another warm embrace.
They’re silent again, just enjoying the warm embraces of each other. Even for the cold weather, it didn’t stop them to cuddle with each other, giving each other a warm embrace as the sound of waves gives them a peace of mind. Just by listening to their hearts, it keeps them feel at ease with the choice of destiny they followed. Contented and happy, they always feel the same feeling.
“Baby… “ Yoona suddenly breaks the silence between them after a minute of silence.
“I love you.”
“I love you too… my little Yoongie.”
Yoona let go from the hug and stared in disbelief to her wife. “Little Yoongie?” she questioned.
“Yup. You’re my little Yoona, because my sister is more mature than you.” Seohyun snickered.
“Yah! How can you say that?” Yoona scoffs, staring in disapproval to what she just heard.
Seohyun sticks out her tongue and without notice quickly run.
“COME BACK HERE KERORO!!!”
“Catch me if you can, little Yoongie!!!”
The couple keeps on chasing each other under the moonlight, just enjoying their moments for the day. One of the days that they could enjoy with each other, every time they had a time. The next day, they know it’ll be another day to face. Knowing exactly that not every day is for enjoyment, they’re keeping their selves ready in every challenges of life.
With their love for each other, together... they’ll make sure, their smile will never fade everyday, even for its worst time.
