“Yong… hwa sshi.” Seohyun gasped in surprised. Looking back to her fiancé, she arches her eyebrows. As if asking her if the guy is okay with her around.

 

Yoona just smiled, walking towards her and chaste a kiss on her lips. “its okay.” she assuredly smiled.

 

“Uhmmm… I guess… “

 

“No Yonghwa-sshi… stays there.” Yoona stopped Yonghwa when he was about to go out.

 

“So… Hyun…  I got you sweet potatoes and… well this isn’t mine… it’s from Yonghwa.” Yoona said softly.

 

“Oh, Yong-hwa sshi… thanks for this.” Seohyun said, smiling to the older guy. Never imagine that the guy is kind enough for cook for her as well.

 

“But Hyunnie… can you choose just one?” Yoona suggested, showing a pout face to her fiancé as if wanted Seohyun to choose her dish.

 

Seohyun giggled with Yoona’s antic. She stood up and grabs the utensils instead of responding to her fiancé’s pleading eyes. She first tasted Yonghwa’s dish and after she tasted it, she just smiled.

 

Drinking a glass of water, she then tasted her fiance’s dish. she sure love sweet potatoes but her mood at this moment isn’t that good as she still bother by the nightmare she just had. She can’t feel anything that she just surprisingly smiled to her fiancé too.

 

“Yah! so… what do you… like the most?” Yoona puzzled on how Seohyun is responding to their own dishes.

 

Instead of answering her fiance’s question, she turned to Yonghwa and bowed. “I’m sorry Mr. Yonghwa-sshi… but can you excuse us?” she asked, earning a puzzle look from the guy.

 

“Uh… o-okay… “ Yonghwa said, exiting the room.

Seohyun sit backs on her desk and work on her files again, this is quite unusual to Yoona’s eyes. She decided to take a sit on her fiance and grab her left hand.

 

“What’s wrong?” Yoona asked. “You still haven’t eaten yet.” Getting worried, Yoona grab her dish and place the plate in front of her fiancé.

 

“Eat up! or-“

 

“Yoong… “

 

“Hmmm?”

 

Seohyun fully turned her body to the doe-eyed girl and seriously stared at her. “Can we hide the engagement first?”

 

Yoona stared back, widening eyes and her mind is still registering what she just heard.

 

“Can you… say that… again?” Yoona softly asked, disbelieving what she just heard. She thought that they had already agreed already on bringing the topic to Seohyun's parent's once they got back.

 

“Yoong… I know this is like… “

 

 

“HYUN! YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I LIKE TO MARRY YOU SOONER OR LATER.” Yoona stood up and screamed.

 

Seohyun was taken aback. She saw it coming but she never hesitated to bring the topic to her fiancé.

 

“Listen-“

 

“NOOOOO!!!  Do you know what you just told me? You wanted us to hide this? After we hide our relationship for a long time… you wanted this engagement to hide this too? Are you even thinking? I’m tired Hyun… I’m so tired!!! You don’t know how much I spend the whole time to just stopped the bankruptcy of your umma’s company, giving her gifts secretly that until now she’s not aware of it… talking to my business partners to buy your umma’s new designed cars… all of these hyun were for you and me… wanted her to feel that I Yoona… is the best for her daughter, responsible and love you so much.” Yoona added.

 

“…“

 

Seohyun widened her eyes in surprised. All this a while, her fiancé has been doing this without her knowing.

 

“We will spill this engagement no matter what… wait… are you hesitating on marrying me?” Yoona mocked. Within a sudden, she felt that her love isn’t that enough for Seohyun to trust on their relationship entirely.

 

“No! I’m not!” Seohyun defended, standing up too to level their stares. “Listen Yoong… I’m just afraid.” She’s already in mixed emotions. How could she bring such a topic again that will just make her fiancé react like this.

 

“Afraid of what? afraid that your umma will break us apart? Screw that fear!!! You know how much I will fight for us… alright… I get It now… I am just the one who is working on this relationship.” Yoona whispered.

 

/SLAP.

 

Yoona’s head turned on her left. Her eyes watered when finally a pain is slowly spreading on her right cheek and even on her heart. Her cheek is slowly reddening. Seohyun slapped her. She mentally reminded herself.

 

“Yoong… so-sorry… “ Seohyun was about to cupped the doe-eyed girl’s cheek when the latter hold her risk, stopping her from doing so.

 

“I understand… I understand it too well Hyun.” Yoona whispered, before dashing out from the room.

Seohyun drops on her knees, finally busting her heart out as she cried—burying her face into her palms.

 

“Stupid me… stu… pid.” She mumbled between her sobs.

Yoona exited the room and went to the nearest bar she could somehow release the pain and cofuse of her heart. As much as she wanted to listen to her fiance’s explaination she knows she will not like it. it will just lead her to agreed what her fiancé is thinking which she’s tired already. All she wanted right now is to marry Seohyun as soon as possible. Though she still has a long way to catch Seohyun’s umma’s heart, she’s willing to do this as long as there were no secrets anymore. She’ll carry the difficulties as long as they’re doing it together and no one will give up.

 

She sat on an empty chair, ordered some alcoholic drinks and drinks them all the way.

 

It’s 1:30pm already, yet still so early to drink she doesn’t care. She wanted to ease the pain first before she could comeback. Maybe just maybe, Seohyun will change her mind.

 

Slapping is always the thing she hates and her fiancé just did it to her. She’s crying while drinking all the alcoholic drinks she just ordered.

Taeyeon put back her phone back on her pocket after she texted Yoona.

 

“We are ready!!!” sulli and Tiffany exclaimed, surprising Taeyeon.

 

“Whoa! Whoa! There… you girls are so… beautiful.” Taeyeon commented, blushing the two girls.

 

“Alright, let’s go?”

She offered, the two nodded and all three of them step in to the car and drove off. The three will be spending time their rest day to Taeyeon’s grandma house.

“How many times I’ve told you Sulli to don’t bring your dogs here.”

 

“Aish! Mom… it’s just dogs.” Sulli rolled her eyes. Her mom is always that so insensitive with animals, annoying her.

 

Taeyeon giggled on the sight of her. She’s already use to this so she just decided to shrug it off.

 

Turning her head to Tiffany’s side, she smiled lovingly. “Let her be. You can’t… just left her in the house alone.”

 

Tiffany smiled back and sighed. “Tae-tae… why are you spoiling her? You know I hate animals.” She pouted.

 

“Even cats?”

 

“Yeah… it just… they’re itchy.”

 

Taeyeon giggled. If she can just cure those allergies of her wife, she would’ve already brought a lot of animals, including her favorite cats.

 

“But Fany, I just wanted to remind you… grandma has a lot of pets too. From dogs to rabbits.”

3:45pm. Yuri is already yawning due to lack of sleeps these days. She’s busy on monitoring the sales of Yoona’s hotels as well as monitoring the Kwon Internationals, if Yoona was on her side right now… it would be much easier for her to work. That daughter of her was always this dedicated when it comes to work, beaming her in happiness to have Yoona as their daughter.

 

“Yoong~ “suddenly Jessica escape a sighed, she’s on the couch with her laptop on her lap.

 

“Don’t think it deepy sica. Yoona is responsible don’t ever doubt on her when it comes to things like this. you can really see her deep love to Seohyun when she talks.”

 

“Hope Seohyun is doing the same thing too. If I were her, I would’ve talk to my umma already and informed her engagement.”

 

“But you are not Seohyun sica. As we all know, Seohyun is not like Yoona… she’s more emotional and not really that confident when it comes to expressing her own. That girl is really reserve… doesn’t do things without her knowledge.” Yuri said, still so focus on her work.

 

Jessica sighed. She turned her attention to a busy wife of her on her desk. “Isn’t this means that Seohyun… is not the right girl of our daughter?”

 

Yuri rolled her eyes, turning her attention to her wife on her side. “Sica… how can you say that? They’re too good for each other. Though opposite minds, they love each other and understand each other.”

 

“You think so?”

 

“Yup!” Yuri nodded confidently.

 

“I hope these two won’t always fight when they finally face the reality of marriage.” Jessica softly said, earning a warm smile from Yuri.

 

“Awwww… sica… I love you.”

 

“Yeah… you just love me if I’m like this… using my mind.” It’s Jessica’s turn to roll her eyes.

6:08pm. Seohyun glance on her wristwatch. This is her 5^th time to glance on her watch, and yet her fiancé hasn’t arrived yet. She just finished her fiance’s dish 2 hours ago not even caring to Yonghwa’s food on the side.

She wanted to look for Yoona but she can’t as her body is still that quite weak. She had taken her medicine as well for body pains.

 

“Where on earth are you… Yoong?” Seohyun unconsciously muttered. Her mind is full of Yoona, if she had eaten her lunch yet? Or is she even doing well?

She’s worrying so much that she forgot to call back her umma.

 

She get off from the bed and was about to reach her desk when the door opens, revealing Yoona drunk.

 

“Hey… Hyunnie… I’m hungry… “ Yoona stumbled ahead in front of Seohyun, startling her. She quickly bend over and grab her fiance’s both arms.

 

“Why did you drink?” Seohyun worriedly asked. Sh' had never saw Yoona to be like this, it isn't the Yoona that she always see. She blamed herself upon realizing that it's her all entire fault. Suddenly she felt her eyes watered.

 

Yoona laughed. She snap away Seohyun’s both hands and once again fell on the floor. “How… can… you… still asked that.” She laughs bitterly.

 

“Hyunnie…  huh?“ Yoona shook her head to get a better vision of her fiance’s face.

 

“Yoong… “ Seohyun once again bend over to pulled her up but Yoona just snapped her away again.

 

“I can take care of my self…  by the way… Hap… py… 2^nd Anniversary… hehe what a… long… d-day… r-right? I-i…. j-just…. Pro-prosed… and… then… he-here… I am… ending the day… with… a…“ Yoona said, before she flopped herself to the bed and dozed off.

 

Seohyun stared in disbelief to her fiancé. Indeed, it’s a long day for them. Instead of spending quality time with each other, it got ruined when she have to take a rest due to the kidnapping yesterday. And instead of thinking positively to their engagement, she chooses to think on the opposite side. If she’s just strong and confident enough, there shouldn’t be a problem.

 

“I’m sorry Yoong… for being coward.” Seohyun whispered as she put the blanket to her fiance’s  body. She planted a kiss on her forehead and crawled over to turn off the lights.

The next morning…

 

“Hey, Hyunnie… wake up!” Yoona shakes Seohyun’s both arms. “Yah! wake up!!!”

 

Slowly, Seohyun opened her eyes when she felt someone waking her up. “Good morning Yoong.” She smiled upon seeing the love of her life, but the usual bright smiled that she uses to see is not there. She’s seeing a blank and cold aura of Yoona.

 

“Get up, shower and we'll get off.” Yoona coldly said. She’s already dressed up, like ready for a trip.

 

“Where are we going?” Seohyun asked, rubbing her eyes.

 

Yoona is busy putting her clothes to a luggage when she stood up and handed her fiancé a paper.

 

“The SEO foundation event for kids was successful; I represented myself on behalf of you.” Yoona said, staring coldly to Seohyun as she gives clean clothes for Seohyun to wear.

 

“Yoong… thank you.” Seohyun whispered, sincerely.

 

“Get off. Or I will leave you here.” Yoona threatened. She then handed a bathrobe to Seohyun before pulling off their luggage’s and exited the room.

 

Seohyun was about to enter bath room when she heard Yoona’s voice again.

 

 

 

“I’ll be in the lobby.”

 

 

 

“Lord, Please… help me.” Seohyun prayed.
