^ Taeyeon's office

 

“Umma… is there any problem with the company?” Seohyun asked, a bit worried. She knows exactly her umma’s attitude; she will just choose to hide it rather than sharing it to her.

Taeyeon chuckled to Seohyun’s expression. “There is nothing honey. At first there is… but I manage to resolve it.” she smiled warmly to her daughter. “Don’t worry. Come take I seat.” taeyeon lead her daughter to sit again on the couch.

“I thought… anyway, so what’s the reason you wanted me here?” Seohyun asked.

Taeyeon then stood and pick up the envelope that she made earlier. “It’s the new charity work honey.” She handed it to Seohyun which the latter accepted.

Opening the envelope, Seohyun pulled out the papers inside.

“That’s the report you will be using to hand it to the mayor of busan.” Taeyeon stated.

“Alright, I’ll handle this as usual… umma.” Seohyun replied with a warm smile, she pulled her umma into a tight hug.

Taeyeon was taken aback. It’s not use for her to have such a contact with her daughter. “Seohyun… I-I”

“Let me hug you like this umma.” Seohyun buried her face to Taeyeon’s shoulder. “I miss you.”

“I miss you too honey.” Taeyeon said, before she immediately let go the hug that her daughter is giving her. “You wouldn’t like to go home late, right? Your mom texted me, she’s expecting you for dinner there.” She patted her daugther’s shoulder.

“How ‘bout you then?” Seohyun asked, doesn’t want the opportunity to pass without her umma.

“I still have to check for the new designs. I’ll just call if I can make it.” Taeyeon reasoned.

Seohyun sighed in defeat. She knows she can’t pursue her umma in times like this. “Fine!” she disappointedly exited the office.

“Honey!” Taeyeon chases her daughter the latter stop on her tracks as she turned. “You forgot your phone.”

“Uh… thanks umma.” Seohyun then give her umma again with a bear hug and smiled. “I understand umma.” She said before she waved goodbye. Taeyeon who is left alone just simply smile a little.

“Miss Kim, they’re ready.” Hara approaches her boss again.

Taeyeon smiled before she turned her attention to Hara as they walk together to the Marketing department.

Yoona’s POV

^ Yoona's office

 

I yawned so long. It’s like 9pm already and I’m still here at the office doing my work. If I should’ve work this earlier on. Aish! Kwon Yoona!

“Honey!” I suddenly looked up to see my mom’s head over the door.

“Mom… “ I whined.

“Oh my baby… “ Jessica hurriedly give me a hugged. “Are you tired?”

“Yah! Kwon-Jung Jessica!” I rolled my eyes upon hearing my umma’s voice outside. The door flung open with a mad girl on it.

“Kwon Seobang, you know you can’t make Yoona to over work.” Mom argued.

“Whose fault is this, huh? If she just worked on this earlier… this won’t-Ouch! What was that?” Yuri umma winced in pain; I chuckled to see how mom just throws her purse to umma’s head.

“Serves you right.” Mom said before she eyed me again. “Okay! I’ll just let this pass Yoong. Just don’t get home late.” She said before she kissed me on my forehead.

“Yes mom.” I said, smilingly to my ever so sweet mom.

“Aish! Here we go again.” Yuri umma rolled her eyes. “Jess… “ mom just walk pass to her.

I chuckled. “Umma… you know how to make up with her.” I said.

“well… “ umma smirked before she handed me another file of folders and exited my office. Aish! Screw my umma.

Kim-Hwang’s recidence, kitchen

Seohyun’s POV

“Mom I’m here!!!” I shouted as I make my way to the dining table to the kitchen, I know mom is already in the kitchen.

There she is, on her apron cooking with some other chefs.

“Hey honey!” mom smiled to me with those eye-smiles. Gosh! No wonder Tae umma loves her so much with those eye-smiles.

I quickly take a peck on her cheek as I hugged her.

“So how was your day?” she asked.

“Yah !mom… you’re still cooking. I’ll just answer that after that.” I said. “I’ll go upstairs first to change.” I kissed her again on the cheek and climb upstairs.

“Honey! Kindly wake your sister up.” I heard her shouted.

“Okay!” I replied with a raise of voice.

Sulli’s room is just across my room so it won’t be hard enough to her room to find on this big house.

Knocking on the door I called her. “Sulli. Wake up baby… “ I press my left ear to the door. I can hear nothing. She is probably on her dreamland again. So I just decided to open it.

“Sulli… sulli… “ I hum her name as I walk in. As soon as I reach her bed, I saw my sister sleeping with her guitar on her stomach, and her room? Super clean with lots of crumpled papers everywhere. Aish this girl.

I bend over to shake her body. “Yah, Sulli. Wakey girl.”

“hmmm… I want you back, back, back… “she mumbled on her sleep. I just giggled. She’s always like this.

“If you will not wake up. I will tell mom that you are not doing your recital.” I warned. It’s as if on cue, she immediately stood up.

“Where’s mom? Where?” she’s like a lost puppy that needs some attention with her expression. Later then she notice me on the side, giggling. “Yah! Unnie.” She pouted as she pick up her guitar and hang it over.

“Go take a shower you little kiddo. You’re drowning with saliva there. Ewww… “ I said chuckling.

Sulli just glared at me. “Fine! I’ll leave now.” I said before I exited her room. Still so amuse with her antics.

I then entered my old room. I smiled instantly, reminiscing my childhood memories with my family here.

Flasback…

Seohyun at 8yrs. Old.

She’s playing the piano gracefully with those skilled fingers when her Tae umma entered her room hiding something behind. Seohyun stood up and asked her umma.

“Umma… what’s behind you?” little Seohyun asked.

“What? There’s nothing.” Taeyeon denied, still hiding it. seohyun who is curious tried to see what’s behind but taeyeon keeps on changing her position to hid it.

“Just give it to her Tae-tae.” Tiffany appeared behind, carrying little Sulli on her arms. She sat on Seohyun’s bed.

“Mom, please tell umma to give it to Me.” little Seohyun runs to her mom Tiffany, with begging eyes.

“Tae-tae?” Tiffany looked up to Taeyeon.

“Fine!” Taeyeon then showed the thing that she was holding all along. “Tada!”

“Oh my… Keroro!!!” little Seohyun then runs to grab her keroro flush toy. Taeyeon then hugged her daughter and carried her on her arms.

“I love you umma!” little Seohyun kissed her umma.

“What about me?” Tiffany pouted.

“Of course mom.” Seohyun smiled. “I love you too.” seohyun beamed.

End of flashback…

I lied on the bed and unknown to me, a tear escape from the corner of my eyes.

Kwon-Jung Residence

Jessica’s POV

I can’t help but to argue again with Yuri, she’s always like, making our Yoongie work hard.

“Yah! It’s her fault ya know…. You know what, you’re always spoiling her.” It’s as if she reads my mind.

I flopped myself to the living room as I opened the flat screen tv. Yuri just passed me to go to the kitchen. I know she will make up to me again.

On the screen…

Kim Corporation is having their meetings with the possible merge with Jung Corporation… blah blah…

I immediately stood up in surprised. Isn’t that my brother’s company?

“Yah! Baby, look at this.” I called shouting to my Seobang to gain her attention. Not long after my wife came with a spoon on her hand and wearing an apron.

“What’s happening? Isn’t Kim Corporation doing good?” Yuri asked me.

“That’s what I think too.” I replied her. Do Seohyun and Tiffany know about this? Kim Taeyeon, how could you do this? If not for Yoona, I would have already barge in to your life but I know Yoona will just mad at me if I’m going to do something.

“Sica, don’t think that again.” Yuri said. Does she really read my mind?

“Seobang! Are you reading my mind?” I asked.

She just chuckled. “I’m not your wife if I don’t know you that well sica.” She said.

I sat back again thinking of this matter. “Yoona should know about this. Taeyeon can’t let this happened. I know my brother too well.”

“Right. Should I call her?” Yuri asked, pulling out her phone already.

“No don’t. Just tell her tomorrow. It will just add another headaches to her right now.” I said.

“Okay!” Yuri just simply said before she left to the kitchen.

“Honey! Make it more delicious.” I grinned. I know she won’t fail me.

“Of course, sica baby!” she replied back.

No One’s POV

“Yes! Yes! Of course… yah! It’s not that. Okay! I’ll be sure to tell umma.” Yoona said. She’s in the marketing team, brainstorming what could be their tactics to make the passengers feel at ease for their 2^nd flight. These passengers were the complainer for their non-professional service incident happened yesterday.

Yoona who just ended the call with one of the passenger, sat back on her chair. She’s already feeling pain on her back.

It’s already 11pm. How could she finish the work too quick if her umma just handed her again with another folders.

“Miss Kwon… want some coffee?” Hyomin, Yoona’s new assistant approaches her with a cup of coffee. Yoona tiredly look up.

“Don’t bother, you know I don’t drink them with no sugar.” Yoona said, noticing the black coffee Hyomin is handing her. Yoona then look over to her wristwatch again. It’s already 11:15. She yawned instantly.

“Oh.” Hyomin nodded as she left her boss.

*baby~ Baby~ it’s Seohyun~

Yoona smiled upon hearing her girlfriend’s voice. It’s indicate that Seohyun just texted her.

From: Seobaby

Sent: 11:16pm

Yoongie, are you at home already?

Yoona texted back…

To: Seobaby

Not yet baby, I’m having a long night here. Probably going home this morning.

Yoona yawned again as she stretch her arms. Her mind diverted to the small box on her pocket. She pulled it out and opens it.

“Just wait there… your owner will soon be wearing you.” Yoona spoke to the shining diamond ring. Smiling like an idiot.

Seohyun texted back…

From: Seobaby

Do you want me to go there?

Yoona smiled, she knows how her Seobaby is worried again.

To: Seobaby

It’s okay…  I can handle this. Just accompany your mom there. She’s missing you so much.

Not long after, Seohyun replied…

From: Seobaby

Okay! I’ll go to bed now. Good night!

-Kim’s Residence-

Seohyun’s POV

Last night was really a good night for me. Mom, Sulli and I had a great dinner though Tae umma is not yet around, we still enjoyed it, especially mom, I can see how she’s so happy around her daughters though I can still see her sadness.

So here I am, lying still on the bed. I wanted to have a little time first, looking around my old bedroom.

“Unnie?” sulli’s voice interrupted my thoughts as I diverted my head to the door. “Aunt Sunny is here.”

“She is?” I immediately stood up as I fix my bed.

“I’ll be just in the living room.” Sulli said before she leaves my room.

Sunny unnie is talking to mom in the garden when I walk in. “oh Seohyun.” She immediately greeted me with a warm hug.

“What’s up unnie?”

I sat besides my mom and across Sunny unnie.

“Uh, Tiff, is it really okay to tell it to her?” aunt sunny asked my mom, which made me confuse.

“What’s going on?” I asked them both, which made them look back to me.

“Seohyun, I don’t know how to say this… but… I am already here, so-“

“Just tell me now Sunny unnie.” I said seriously.

“Okay!” Sunny aunt was a bit hesitant as I could tell it to her eyes; she keeps on glancing to my mom.

“Yoona… I saw here… the other day… at a jewelry shop.” Sunny unnie stated.

“… and then?” I was getting impatient already.

“She… she bought… there. I think it’s a ring?”

“Yes?” that made me surprise. My Yoona bought a ring? “When was this Sunny unnie?” I asked her.

“It was… I think 2 days ago.” She said. That was when I and Yoona had a little argument.

“Are you sure she bought a ring unnie? Coz if that so… “

“Seohyun, she might be going to propose soon.” Mom said.

“That can’t be possible mom. Coz, recently…  she’s been… so sweet? But… isn’t that a sign?”

“oh my god!” Mom and Sunny unnie gasped.

Kwon’s Recidence

“Ummaaaaa~ “ Amber called. She just got back from her piano recital with Sulli. “I’m home.” As soon as she reach the kitchen, she saw her sister Yoona rummaging the refrigerator.

“Unnie? Are you that hungry to pull out all the foods there?” Amber asked in amuse.

“What’s the noise there?” Jessica came rubbing her eyes and yawn. “Yoona? You just got home?” she immediately recognized Yoona’s body.

Yoona turned with much more food on her hand and put it down the counter. “Yes!”

“Gosh! You should’ve said… amber, go wake up your umma.” Jessica ordered amber then obeyed diligently.

“Mom, I’m so hungry. I hate the foods at the office.” Yoona whined. She sat on an empty chair.

“Yeah yeah I know… you should take a shower first. Go upstairs, I’ll handle this.” Jessica then pick up the vegetable that Yoona had search from the ref.

Yoona finishes her shower just in 5 minutes and another 5 minutes to put her new clothes.

Yoona’s phone ring, it’s Seohyun again who is calling.

“Hey baby!” she answered the phone with a smile.

“Yoong… are you at home already?” Seohyun asked.

“Yup! Why?”

“Can I go over? I’ll just… uh… want to talk to your umma.” Seohyun replied.

“My umma… or me?” Yoona grinned.

“No! of course I wanted to talk to you… but I want to talk to Yuri umma too.”

“Fine!”Yoona just rolled her eyes and ende the call.

Kim Restaurant

Hyoyeon was busy again in the kitchen ordering the chefs when Sooyoung came late.

“Sorry Hyo. I was busy again with my sister.” Sooyoung immediately reasoned out.

“No it’s okay. I know krystal’s recital too.” Hyo said. “Just get back to work now. By the way… I have someone to meet you later.” She grinned.

“Errr… I know that grin again Hyo. You know I’m always up to dating.” Sooyoung winked. She then put all her ingredients in one place.

“I tell you. She’s the cutest girl I know… and she’s actually a friend/cousin to me.”

“oh really?” Sooyoung glared.

Hyo know already the glare so she just sighed. Sooyoung needs to work already. “I’ll just be outside.” She then exited the kitchen.

While hyo is busy with the costumers she saw a familiar figure pass by her restaurant.

“Isn’t that… Taeyeon?” she gasped. She then immediately chases Taeyeon and somewhat bewildered with the way Taeyeon is walking, she’s like in a hurry.

“Yah! Taeyeon-ah!” she called.

Taeyeon who manage to hear this stop on her tracks and turned.

“I knew it you.”

“Hyo… are-“ Taeyeon didn’t manage to utter a word as her sister is already dragging her back in the restaurant.

“Yah! What are you doing?” Taeyeon tried to snapped away her hand from Hyo’s grasp but to no avail, she just let it. hyo force her to sat on an empty table and ordered her employee to give Taeyeon a breakfast.

“I just had my breakfast Hyo. You don’t have to bother.” Taeyeon reasoned.

“Look at you… you’re getting thinner. Don’t you know that?” Hyo worriedly said. “If I was just your wife? I would’ve stopped you from working. But I know I am not Tiffany. She’s just too kind and understanding enough on your work.” She eyed Taeyeon who is not listening.

“Yah!” Hyo smack her sister’s head. “Wake up!”

“I know… “ Taeyeon muttered. “Just give me my food now.” Taeyeon demanded.

“You can’t-“

“Here’s the food.” Two waiters appeared behind Hyo as they put all the dishes that Sooyoung had cooked for Taeyeon down.

Taeyeon’s emotionless face turned into a little kid smiles as soon as she saw the dishes.

“I thought you have already your breakfast?” Hyo got confused.

“I was just kidding ya know.” Taeyeon smiled before she began to eat.

Kwons Residence

Seohyun’s POV

“Honey! Seohyun is already here!” Jessica umma called Yoona as soon as I step to their living room. I sat and make myself comfortable.

“Seohyun unnie? What a pleasant surprise.” Amber who is eating her ice cream approaches me, I immediately reacted to hug her.

“So are you here for my sister?”

“No! I’m here for your Yuri umma… just wanted to ask something.” I said with a smile.

“oh hey Seohyun… Yoona already told me about you visiting… so… “ I interrupted Yuri umma by dragging her out to the garden.

“Uh… Seohyun, what’s with you?” she asked me in curiosity.

“Uhmmm… Aunty Yuri… can I ask something?”

“Of course darling.” She smiled. “What is this?”

“Does… Yoona… I mean… does Yoona mentioned to you about… “ I paused, doesn’t know how to say the words. “Actually… recently… I’ve noticed her being so-“

“Seobaby!!!” damn Yoona for interrupting me with her umma. She hugged me behind as I smiled to her too.

Yuri umma chuckled. “Make yourself at home darling… Yoona, behave.” Yuri umma then went back to the house.

I turned around to face my ever so sweet girlfriend. She immediately pulled me into a tight hugged. Aigoo… Yoona, if I can’t take this anymore, I would probably have asked you about the ring.

“Baby… I miss your warm.” She said. Which I do the same too. “So… “she let go from the hugged slowly as she face me again, still on her embrace. “Does Tae umma give you another job?” she asked with those warm smiles.

“Uh-huh… “ I nodded in response.

“You know how to speak right?” she joked.

I just giggled. “Yah!” I playfully punch her on her shoulders.

“I was just kidding… so what’s your plan? Today? I have less work.” She winked. Aish this girl.

“Baby… I will be in busan in 2 days.” I sadly shared.

“What?” she gasped. “So I won’t be… seeing you?” I just nodded, and pouted.

“Seohyun… “She whined. Aish! I know I can’t help her.

“So you wanted to join, again, right?” I grinned at her. She just nodded.

“Alright, I’m actually planning that too.” I said. She surprisingly kissed me on my cheek. I just giggled. Why can’t I resist this girl? She’s just so sweet and caring.

If Yoona is really going to propose to me, what’s stopping her? I will say yes immediately but of course, it's not that soon. Umma still oblivious with my relationship with Yoona. She just know Yoona as my friend.

I was snapped from reality when she started to tickle me.

“Yah! Yah! Stop… it’s… “ I successfully back away from her tickles but she immediately pulled me again to her embrace and kisses me on the lips this time but just a peck only coz my phone rang. Interrupting us.

It’s tae umma.

“Umma… “ I answered the phone. As soon as I answered the phone, Yoona shut her mouth and just listen to my conversation with umma.

“Are you at home? I wanted to see you there… I’ll give you something important.” She said with a bit of a serious tone. I know if Tae umma is like this, there’s something serious to be discussing again with her.

“No I’m not umma… what time do you want me to see?” I asked. How I really hate keeping my relationship with Yoona to my Tae umma. But can’t help it. I know she won’t let me. I’m her heiress. God knows how I wish that my umma is not that tough to deal when it comes to business.

“This dinner time.” She said.

“Okay! I’ll be sure.” I replied and she ended the call.

“Something wrong?” Yoona asked worriedly.

“Yeah… “

“Don’t worry. It’ll be okay.” she said with a warm smile and pulled me again for a deep kiss.

“Yoona… Hyomin is on the phone.” Jessica, Yoona’s mom approaches us which made us break the kiss immediately.

“Who’s Hyomin?” I asked her.
