Seohyun’s POV

 

“Do you want to marry me?”

 

“Yes?”

 

I stared at Yoona surprisingly, 6 words, with only one meaning.

I don’t know if I’m going to scream my answer but one thing for sure, Yoona is asking me to marry her.

 

I felt my heart pumping to its highest speed. My tears started to be visible while staring at her doe-eyes lovingly.

 

This person before me is asking me to be with her for the rest of her life. Yoona, the choding and prankster I know but at the end of the day, she will make it up to you by buying you ice cream. The girl who gives me courage to face my every fear, she let me fly on my own without wings. The girl who’s been so understanding, caring and kind enough when I made a mistake, the girl who also made me realize that love should be shared and not for your own good.

The very girl who made me feels… this everlasting love.

 

“Seohyun?”

 

I smiled with overflowing tears. It’s too overwhelming to hear her said those words to me. I can’t seriously believe this moment.

 

Am I dreaming? Please don’t wake me up.

 

“Will you marry me?” she asked softly again. I just keep on staring at her as I continue sobbing.

 

I can’t yet comprehend what’s happening. It’s not like I am just dreaming but I know this isn’t. This is reality, a reality that I should embrace.

 

“Yoona~ “ I finally have the guts to respond after a minute of thinking. Yoona is just too kind enough to wait for me to answer.

 

She already opens the box, and immediately the ring shines so brightly before me.

 

“Seohyun, I know this too soon…. But I have to assure that somehow, in my next lifetime….  You are still on my side, holding my hand… as we face… “ Yoona pauses for moment to hold both of my hands. The box is in between us.

 

“The next chapter of our life… “ she pauses again, wiping her eyes from the tears she’s escaping. She’s even choking. I stayed silent, waiting for her to continue.

 

“Will you still… be the one… to wipe my tears, to hug and comfort me every time I needed them? Will you still be there…  to join me carrying the problems… with courage? Will you still be there… for me… on that… next lifetime?”

Now it’s her turn to sobs. Awwww… Yoona why are you such a kiddo?

 

She laughed with her own antics but still sobbing. “I’m… sorry, I shouldn’t be like this.”

 

I smiled as I wipe the last tears on my eyes. Cupping her both cheeks and makes her look at me.

 

“Yoona… I don’t know how to answer you… but you have to know… that I am willing… to be there in that next lifetime.” I started.

 

“Yoona… there’s no time and days that I can see myself without you. All I always wanted to see is that… you… and I… will be always… with each other.. laughing, smiling or even crying.” Once again, tears drops in the corner of my eyes.

 

“You… Yoona… is my life, and I can still see myself that next lifetime you are talking about.” I smiled at her lovingly. Beaming in happiness.

 

“So… “

 

I nodded slowly as I smiled, biting my lips.

No One’s POV

 

As if on cue, three helicopters was heard from up above, dropping petals to the couple. Yachts started to move and formed a heart shape with them in the center.

 

Whistles can be heard from the people around them.

 

As soon as Seohyun nodded her head, Yoona immediately pulled the younger girl on her tight warm hug. Both are smiling in happiness as they heard the people around them cheering and whistling.

 

“I hate you… why did you have to do this?” seohyun is totally as red as a tomato when she heard the whistles and the cheering and the petals is making her more fluttered.

 

“I love you.” Yoona whispered. “I’ve been waiting for this Hyun… for freaking 5 months.” She sobs more, still hugging so tightly her girlfriend…. who is now her fiancé.

 

Seohyun hug tightly her fiancé back, even for the fact that the water is giving her hard to respond the hug. She smiled continuously with overwhelming tears.

 

“I love you too.” Seohyun responded with a kiss on Yoona’s neck.

 

They stayed for while like that, feeling each other’s warm is what they always love. The petals from up above are continuously dropping like there’s no tomorrow.

 

After like a minute, Yoona was the first one to let go from the hug slowly. Once again she opened the box on her right hand.

 

 

 

“I guess, I don’t have to kneel down.” She chuckled, making Seohyun giggled.

 

“So… once again, Seo Joo-hyun… will you… marry this Kwon Choding in front of you?” Yoona asked, biting her lips to hold back the incoming tears again.

 

“Yes! Yes! Yes!!!!! Kwon YOOOOOONAAAAAA!!!!” Seohyun screamed out of her lungs.

 

“Yah! you don’t have to scream.” Yoona scolded, as if she doesn’t like it.

 

“But I have to… for them to hear.” Seohyun pouted.

 

Yoona giggled, she then grabs the ring from its box and held Seohyun’s left hand to put in the diamond ring to her girlfriend’s ring finger.

 

“Perfect.” Yoona commented. Seohyun smiled to the thing on her finger, and then face back her fiancé.

 

“What about you?”

 

“Oh, here.” once again, Yoona pulled out something behind Seohyun’s left ear like a magic. She showed it to Seohyun and quickly, Seohyun grab it.

 

“Yoona… “

 

“Hmmm?”

 

“Will you, marry… me?” Seohyun asked seriously to Yoona’s doe-eyes.

 

“4 words… one answer, right?” Yoona grinned. Playing along.

 

“Well… if-“

 

“Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Ye-“ Yoona stopped when Seohyun presses her lips to her fiancé.

 

The yachts moves again, forming three connected hearts and two more helicopters appeared from up above, dropping more petals.

 

They shared passionate overwhelming kiss while they felt each other’s heart beating in sync. The feeling that they’re sharing right now is just too overwhelming that no one want to deny their happiness. No one wanted to let go. That’s how powerful their love is.

 

While passionately kissing, Seohyun slid in the ring to Yoona’s ring finger on her left.

 

Feeling the need of oxygen for kissing like a minute, the two pulled off from the long passionate kiss with full of love. They pants heavily to catch their breaths and presses their foreheads against with each other.

 

Smiling widely and lovingly to each other’s eyes, the two hug each other again.

 

“I love you” they whispered in unison.

Yuri is on her leather chair with a cup of coffee on her right hand. She’s reading the latest report from their income to her laptop when she heard her wife calling her.

 

“Sica… I’m here.” she replied, raising her voice.

 

Peeking her head to her wife’s room, Jessica speaks. “Do I still have to accompany Yoona for next week’s meeting?”

 

“What do you mean?” Yuri stood up, leading her wife to sat on her couch.

 

“The investment thingy… you know… I can’t be careless with this.”

 

“Well… I know you are worried. But you have to learn trusting your daughter sica… you have made a mistake already, you wouldn’t want to make another one, right?” Yuri gives her wife an assuring smile. “Trust me. Your daughter is old enough to do this. She’s not the Kwon we know right now for nothing.”

 

Jessica sighed. She’s still that concern with how much money can be loss. But somehow, it makes her think twice again. She leaned her head to her wife’s shoulder before she spoke again.

 

“Your daughter is such good kid Yuri. I can’t even see myself with her.”

 

“Yah! you’re her mom, how can you say that?” Yuri lightly punch her wife’s left arm.

 

“I have done such a shameful act Yul… “Jessica suddenly cried, to Yuri’s surprised.

 

She immediately pulled her wife for comfort. “Please… sica… don’t ever think that again. You have to move on. Yoona is surely forgetting it now. So you don’t have to worry.”

 

“All we need to do right now is to make it up to your daughter. We have to support whatever she is planning. She’s a good and bright kid, as what you just mentioned, so don’t you ever felt ashamed again. We have to feel proud on her, knowing that she’s already growing.”

 

Jessica continued to sobs. Letting out her emotions, The painful emotions she still carrying. She still has no assurance when will the pain go away.

 

“There… there… let it out. After this, you will not cry anymore.”

 

/beep.

 

“Mrs. Kwon.” A voice from Yuri’s landline phone was heard.

 

“hmmmm?”

 

“Mrs. Kim is here.”

 

Jessica immediately pulled from the hug when she heard the name.

Calling the attention of Dr. Park, you have an operation in an hour.

 

A young boy look up into the ceiling when he heard the voice from up above.

 

“You look like you are lost… kiddo.” A doe-eyed girl approaches the young boy, bending on her knees to level their heights.

 

“No… I know this place. My father has been hospitalized here.”

 

The doe-eyed girl arches her eyebrows. “He is?”

 

“Yeah… “

 

“Kyungsana~”

 

“Oh, that’s my mom. Bye bye nuna.” The young boy wave goodbye to the doe-eyed girl, the latter smiled and stood up.

 

“Yoong! We are… “ Hyo stops when she saw Yoona’s smiling face, she followed Yoona’s stare and smiled to where Yoona is smiling. “The last time I know… you just love your family and Seohyun. It looks like you like kids now.” She added, grinning away.

 

“Yah! I am not.” Yoona blushed upon hearing such a comment from Hyo. She walks in fully to the hospital to find Seohyun’s ward.

 After such a romantic and emotional event earlier, Yoona decided to go to the hospital to check Seohyun’s health, noticing her fiancé’s tired face after they have shared such a memorable scene earlier.

 

Walking in to Seohyun’s ward, she saw her fiancé sitting on the edge of the bed.

 

“You okay now? The doctor said you need rest… so I suggest canceling the event tomorrow.” Yoona said seriously, sitting on Seohyun’s side. She holds her fiancé’s left hand and played with her ring.

 

“I guess so… I really need rest. But what about the foundation?” so concerned with the effects of cancellation of the event, Seohyun leaned her head to her fiancé’s shoulder.

 

“Don’t worry. I’ll handle it. All you need to do is to sleep and rest more… okay?” kissing her the back of her fiancé’s hand, Yoona pulled closer her fiancé on it’s waist.

 

“By the way… did umma called again? I don’t want to lie anymore Yoong.”

 

“I know you are worried… don’t worry okay? Leave it all to me.” Yoona closes her eyes, feeling her heart beating in sync with her fiancé.

 

“But yoong~” Seohyun suddenly pulled from her fiance’s warmth and face Yoona with a pouting face. “We have to face this together.” She added.

 

“I know… I know… okay… we are going to tell them together what really happened last night, but leave the engagement to me. I wanted to make sure that both of your parents will agree with this, especially your umma.” Yoona said seriously.

 

“Yoong… “

 

“Hmmm?”

 

“I hate you.”

 

“I know you love me.” Yoona giggled, pulling again her fiancé for a hug.

Kim Taeyeon, the president and CEO of Kim Corp. is in Kwon International Airlines building. Taeyeon mentally slapped herself upon realizing where she is.

 

She’s in a guest room, looking over to the building through the window glass.

 

“Mrs. Kim…. Mrs. Kwons are here.” a female voice interrupted Taeyeon’s thoughts. She turned on her back and find Yuri and Jessica entering the guest room.

 

“Please… “ Yuri respectfully lead Taeyeon to seat on the couch.

 

Taeyeon suits herself across the Kwons. She cleared her throat to open her mouth to be the first one to speak. “Jess… Yul… I know this is… really random. But… Uh, can I borrow your daughter?”

 

“What?” the kwons frowned together.
