Description

Im Soo Jin loves music so much and has a passion for song writing. Her dream school is Jaenung Academy and she has an older brother teaching there. Her older brother is none other than Im Siwan, who is a professional violinist. Jaenung Academy is a well known academy for students who are future singers and future composers. It is also known as a training camp for idol stars who want to improve their skills as performers on stage. It is owned by the famous singer himself, Jung Jae Yun. Each year JJY Agency will debut either a singing group or a solo artist and they would have to pick ONE composer. They will have to work together in composing, writing and singing the piece that they have made and if they passed, then they’ll be able to make their debut. Now the only problem is that in this school, ROMANCE is absolutely NOT ALLOWED. In the same year as Soo Jin enrolled in the academy, six boys from different idol groups also decided to enroll themselves there. What do you think will Soo Jin do if she falls for one of the guys? Will they be able to live a happily ever after?

[A/N]Based from the anime “Uta No Prince Sama” LittleChocolat presents “This is Our Song” a story about seven students who are studying in Jaenung Academy and are in search of their dreams and real goals in life and probably, in search of the one they love.

Characters:

You as Im Soo Jin (Anime Character: Haruka Nanami)
Class A

-Soo Jin as a free spirited 16 year old girl; she is energetic, lively and courageous. She’s also the type of person who is always working hard and who never gives up easily but there is one thing that she can’t do and that is express her thoughts, feelings or opinions in front of a crowd. Her brother, Im Siwan, found out that his sister can only express it when she is writing. She once composed a song all about her anger towards a certain boy that bullied her during preschool and it was a very good song so he started to teach her everything he knows about music and later on, Soo Jin wanted to study where her brother was teaching and that is Jaenung Academy. It wasn’t an easy start for her since she was bullied by most of her classmates due to the fact that she’s the only one in their family who can’t play any instruments at all but later on, she discovers that she truly is a genius composer.

Kim Myungsoo/L (Anime Character: Tokiya Ichinose)
Class S

-The guy whom MiYu fell in love at first sight with but later on despised him because of his attitude. Kim Myungsoo is one of the main vocalists from the idol group, Infinite. Even though he’s one of the main vocalists of the group, their manager sensed that something was wrong with him, it’s like he was not singing from the heart anymore that’s why they decided to send him to Jaenung Academy to make sure that when he graduates, he can sing back like the way he used to. Myungsoo hated the idea that he was being sent to Jaenung Academy that’s why he always acts cold and disrespectful to those around him as a sign of his ‘rebellion’ but when he encountered Soo Jin at the cafeteria, he wasn’t aware that Soo Jin would be the one to melt his ice cold heart. His roommate is Jo Kwangmin, whom he notices that his cold side doesn’t have an effect on him. He wants to be called ‘L’ by everyone in the academy but looks like Soo Jin disliked him too much that she calls him Myungsoo to irritate him.

Jo Kwangmin (Anime Character: Otoya Ittoki)
Class A

-The first person who befriended Soo Jin. The two actually met during the entrance exam. He helped Soo Jin get inside since she was running a little late. Kwangmin is a very cheerful person and he can easily share his thoughts to just anyone. He likes to hang out with Soo Jin a lot and he is a fan of her. Later on Soo Jin finds out that Kwangmin has an older twin and is actually a rapper from the idol group ‘Boyfriend’ after performing during the school festival. Kwangmin has a lot of faith in Soo Jin and he really likes the rap parts that she composed for him. Aside from that, she also has a little crush on her and he keeps on blushing whenever she smiles at him. His roommate is none other than the cold-hearted Kim Myungsoo

Lee Byunghyun/L.Joe (Anime Character: Masato Hijirikawa)
Class A

-A cool rapper from the idol group ‘Teen Top’ he decided to enroll to Jaenung University because he believes that he still has a lot to learn. He is a serious person and sometimes, people would have a hard time talking to him because of his straightforward look but it never stopped him from gaining fan girls inside the Academy. Besides being a serious person, he is good in playing the piano. He even taught Soo Jin how to play it after being humiliated by her classmates. He is often called ‘L.Joe’ by everyone but sometimes Soo Jin will call him Byunghyun. He only shows his soft side whenever Soo Jin is involved.

Jung Jinyoung (Anime Character: Ren Jinguuji )
Class S

-B1A4’s charismatic leader who is famous with the ladies, that’s Jung Jinyoung for you. He plays the guitar and has an amazing voice that the ladies will sure fall for. He’s really not a play boy but he likes it when he is being surrounded by his fans because he thinks that they help him boost his will up. He enrolled into Jaenung Academy because he wanted to learn more about song writing, even though he has composed some songs from their past albums, he still wanted to learn more. When he met Soo Jin, he believed that she became his inspiration in writing songs and he often gives her roses whenever they would see each other. His roommate is L.Joe whom he finds a hard time talking to since L.Joe finds him annoying due to the fact that Jinyoung is always surrounded by girls. He also helped Soo Jin take the entrance exam along with Kwangmin.

Gong Chan Shik (Anime Character: Syo Kurusu)
Class S

-The chic Maknae of B1A4 who likes to dazzle things up. He enrolled into Jaenung Academy because just like his hyung, Jinyoung, he also wants to learn a lot more things about music and song writing. He is really good in Math but sucks when it comes to Science. He hates it when he is called ‘munchkin’ by the others, even though he’s tall, his hyungs (and even Kwangmin) would look at him as if he was the same height as Soo Jin. He knows Lee Sungyeol from Infinite and shares a room with him. GongChan is afraid of heights but later on overcame it with the help of Soo Jin and their friends. He is aware of Sungyeol’s sensitive side that’s why there are times that when he notices that Sungyeol is already teary-eyed, he agrees in letting Sungyeol dress him up. He’s a smart kid and is really passionate. He also has a little crush on Soo Jin and later on asks her to be his partner.

Lee Sungyeol (Anime Character: Natsuki Shinomiya)
Class A

-A playful kid he is. Sungyeol enrolled in Jaenung Academy because, well, because he wanted to tag along with Myungsoo and their manager thought that Myungsoo won’t have a hard time if Sungyeol is around that’s why he agreed with him coming along that way, he would keep Myungsoo company. Sungyeol likes cute things and he is fond of Soo Jin because she reminds him of a cute bunny. Sungyeol knows GongChan from way back and he likes to dress him up in girl clothes because he finds GongChan really cute especially when he becomes a girl. He likes to cook but apparently, cooking doesn’t like him at all. Sungyeol maybe playful and all but he is very sensitive and easily cries that’s why GongChan is always careful whenever he tries to decline anything that Sungyeol would offer him.  Sungyeol has another side of him that when he gets kissed by a girl on the cheek, he becomes a totally different person. He becomes a violent guy who goes by the name ‘Inner Sungyeol’. The inner Sungyeol once put 50,000 men in a hospital because they pissed him off but he becomes a genius when he is in his ‘Inner Sungyeol’ mode.

Im Siwan

-Soo Jin’s older brother who works as a teacher in Jaenung Academy. He really loves his sister and is always looking after her and encourages her whenever she feels down. Their parents are always away that’s why he ends up taking care of his sister ever since they were kids. He is a professional violinist and is a very kind guy

Han Chan Hee

-Soo Jin’s roommate and best friend; they met during the entrance exam and found out that they have a lot of interests. Chang Hee is an energetic girl but sometimes lazy and likes to sleep a lot. Soo Jin would often wake her up during classes. Chung Hee always has Soo Jin’s back especially when it comes to helping others.

Park Jinyoung as Jung Jae Yun

-He is the owner and the headmaster of Jaenung Academy. He is also a famous singer and sold 70,000 copies of his Album that’s why he was able to build Jaenung Academy. He often pops out of nowhere to check on students or sometimes, spy on them.

Kim Haneul

-Soo Jin’s homeroom teacher; She is a famous ballet dancer in Korea and has a crush on Soo Jin’s brother, Siwan but he fails to realize it because he is a dense person.

Kim Ji Yeop/Kevin

-He is Haneul’s brother; he is older than her by one year and is the homeroom teacher of Myungsoo’s class. He is also a great singer that’s why GongChan is a fan of him.

NOTE: I STILL HAVE TO DOUBLE CHECK ON THE ATTITUDE OF THE CHARACTERS SO I MIGHT EDIT THIS PART FROM TIME TO TIME

Foreword

“Soo Jin-ah, listen to this okay?” my brother said as he started to play the violin, wow, he’s so good at it. I really love it.
“That’s all for today Soo Jin-ah, oppa still has to go to work”
“Ne oppa~ uh, oppa! When I grow up, I want to study where you go to work!” oppa smiled at me then he went near me and patted me on the head
“Sure you can, I bet you’ll pass that entrance exam with flying colors!” I smiled at what he said then he kissed me on the forehead and left.

I really love music, don’t you? I’m happy because I belong to a family that is into music. My parents are professional musicians and my brother is a professional violinist; he is also a music teacher in a well-known school. Someday, I will become a student in that school and be like Appa, Eumma, and Oppa

Jaenung Academy... Here I come!

Author’s Note: Hey people! LittleChocolat here back with my third Fanfic entitled “This is our Song”. As I’ve mentioned before, I was inspired from the anime Uta No Prince Sama that’s why I based this fan fic on that anime though if you compare this from the anime, I’ve made some changes since I wanted to make the story a bit different from the anime. I hope you guys will enjoy this story and look forward to it.
