Description
MANY YEARS AGO, A NUCLEAR EXPERIMENT WENT INCREDIBLY WRONG, DESTROYING MOST OF THE HUMAN POPULATION AND RENDERING THE REST COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY USELESS. FOLLOWING THE EXPERIMENT, NORTH KOREA, HAVING BEEN SUBJECT TO QUITE A LOT OF THE NUCLEAR RADIATION, HAS ALL BUT SURVIVED. WITH DEPLETING FOOD AND THE LOSS OF THEIR LIMITED RESOURCES, THEY WERE LEFT WITH NO CHOICE BUT TO TURN TO THEIR FORMER ALLY-TURNED-ENEMY, SOUTH KOREA.
A NEWLY REVISED TIMELINE WAS BROUGHT TO THE SURFACE TO SIGNIFY THE START OF A HOPEFUL NEW FUTURE, AND IN THE PAST YEARS, MANY THINGS HAVE HAPPENED. DESPITE THE NUCLEAR RADIATION CAUSING MANY RESOURCES TO BECOME EXTINCT, THE RISE OF A NEW POWER HAS BROUGHT ABOUT NEW LAWS TO TRY AND SALVAGE WHAT EVER IS LEFT OF THEIR ONCE THRIVING COUNTRY. OF COURSE, NOT EVERYBODY AGREES WITH THE WAY THINGS ARE BEING RUN.

IT'S THE YEAR 218 A.N., AT LEAST 218 YEARS AFTER THE NUCLEAR EXPERIMENT THAT DESTROYED MOST OF EARTH AND LEFT THE REST SIMMERING IN RADIATION.
KOREA HAS ADOPTED a new law simliar to china's former one child policy after the north and south joined together, causing the already depleting resources to become more scarce. the two koreas had fused together under the power of the south, and while its forbidden to be mentioned, there are rumours that the north wants to take over.
not many people know it, but these rumours are in fact incredibly true. along what used to be the border separating the north and the south lies many abandoned buildings. here, a foreboding new future is being developed.
due to the one child policy, regardless of status, many families who are expecting twins, triplets, etc have had to choose one child over another/others. what parents are told has happened to their abandoned children is that they've been sent to live off in the middle of nowhere, serving the government in their own special way. it wasn't spoken of but everyone knew what that meant. they'd be killed.
these babies, however, were turned over to north korean loyalists disguised as the ones chosen to 'euthanise', as it was referred to as. raised at the border, these abandoned children have been awaiting their turn to experience what life would've been like in their families. of course, despite what simple and innocent thoughts these children have, the loyalists have something deeper and darker in mind.
