The long awaited sequel to Overcome is here~! I promised a sequel, and here it is. This is a story that's going to be full of deaths, and war. A fair warning to all, since this is the last of the trilogy for this series it may not have a happy ending. Don't pick a favorite character, they may die at some point.

To the characters~!
 

Current Guard:

Taeil: The leader and a jack of all trades when it comes to weapons. Knows a little magic, but doesn't have an orb like Doyoung and Ren do. He was trained under JR.

Taeyong: A master swordsman that was personally trained under Minhyun. He can seem a little hardheaded and cold at first, but he knows his place and is ready to die for his teammates if it came down to it. He is good friends with Jaehyun.

Doyoung: An orb user, his element is lightning and his god is the black panther named Chen. He was trained under Ren, and is very skilled in his magic. He helped Taeil work with magic, but was limited with what he could teach since Taeil never got an orb to use. He is close to all the members of the guard, though if he had to pick a favorite person he would choose Taeil.

Jaehyun: A shapeshifting assassin that was personally trained under Baekho and Suho. He has some trouble with his shifting, but he pushes passed that and focuses on making a smooth transition between forms. His animal form is a large polar bear with a scar going over his right eye that he got during training one time. It is only visible in his animal form. He is close to Taeyong and Mark.

Mark: A archer who prides himself in his sharpshooting skills. He trained hard under Ren who reluctantly taught him how to properly wield a bow after JR talked with him. He worked hard to make Ren proud of him, and after he got appointed Ren told him he was proud of Mark's accomplishments. Mark is a hard working member of the guard, and he along with his German Shepherd dog Jeonghan work to gain the respect of the older members of the guard.
 

Past Guard:

Ren: An orb user, his element is fire and his god is a dragon named Kris. He is also under the control of the element of frost, with his god being a polar bear named Xiumin. He is the only one out of the past guard that started a family. His wife is named Yezi and his son is named Sehun. He was the one who trained Doyoung and Mark.

JR: A jack of all trades when it comes to using weapons. He is considered the leader, though he unofficially passed that title to Ren since he was the one who rescued the queen 10 years ago. He was the one who trained Taeil.

Baekho: A shapeshifting assassin who trained Jaehyun. He doesn't have any trouble with his shifting now, as he was training under Suho to help keep his shifting in check. He still helps Jaehyun with his shifting when he can. He moved out of the capitol and into the countryside, though he still went to the capitol for trade as he went hunting every couple weeks or so.

Minhyun: A master swordsman who trained Taeyong. He was proud of the new guard, knowing that they all worked hard to get to this point in their life. He was now a teacher at one of the many schools in the capitol, when he wasn't busy sparring with Jaehyun, Taeyong, and JR to keep their skills up.

Suho: A shapeshifter who helped Baekho train Jaehyun. He also helped Baekho with his shifting and continues to work with Jaehyun and his shifting. He wasn't officially a part of the guard, but he swore his loyalty to Ren, which made him an unofficial member. His animal form is a large gray wolf.
