Baekhyun stood rooted on the floor, knees trembling, hands freezing, and beads of perspiration trickled down his neck slowly. Here he was, standing in front of SME University, which is one of the best University in Korea. Yes, it was undeniable that Baekhyun was eternally glad that he finally got the chance to enter this university through scholarship. However… Baekhyun scratch the back of his head, something is not right.

            Lack of confidence is a major problem right now. Like, hell. This is one of the best university! Being nervous is totally acceptable and reasonable, I wonder how I can compete with all of the smartass. Baekhyun thought internally.

            Suddenly, Baekhyun’s eyes lit up and immediately shoved his right hand into his backpack to search for his smartphone.

            “Only this person can help me.” Baekhyun whispered to himself softly.

            Chanyeol swore, this was the 20^th time he yawned ever since the calculus class started 10 minutes before, causing himself to become the centre of attraction to his lecturer, which is nothing to be proud of.

            “Park Chanyeol,” the wise, old lecturer bellowed. “Didn’t you sleep yesterday?”

            “I’m sorry Sir.” Chanyeol replied, instantly straightened his posture and let out few coughs.

            Buzzzzzzz……

            “Pffffttt!” Chanyeol covered his mouth with both of his hands to compress his laughter as he felt something tickled his .

            Slowly, he pull out his vibrating smartphone from his back pocket. Cheese, you almost got me killed by tickling my ! Chanyeol beamed stupidly when he realized that Baekhyun was the one who was calling him. Before answering the call, he looked around and slowly lowered down is body, making sure that the students who sat in front of him was covering his giant body. Okay, save.

            “What the hell Byun Baekhyun? You’re pretty aware that I’m having class now!”  Chanyeol answered the call with a shout-whisper manner.

             “I don’t know, no, I know, no, I don’t know, no, I don’t really know.” Baekhyun stuttered and for some reason, Baekhyun felt that tears were forming in his eyes, but he did not know why.

            “Baekkie, what is wrong with you? Bullied by someone? Who is it? Tell me and that person will be a piece of dead meat tomorrow.” Chanyeol murmured frantically as he sensed that Baekhyun was not being Baekhyun at all.

             “I’m… scared… Help me Chanyeollie.” Baekhyun sounded shaky. “I’m scared to step into this luxurious university! The students here are all superstars! I’m just wearing a plain button up shirt and jeans! I look like a worm among them!” he continued.

            Chanyeol chocked on air and growled, “For goodness’ sake, are you just going to stand at where you are forever?”

            “I think so.”

            Chanyeol double face-palmed himself and sighed, gone speechless of Baekhyun’s foolishness. “Just lift your ing short legs and walk inside! By the whole goddamn way, being able to become a part of SME University is your dream right?!” Chanyeol unconsciously increased his volume.

            “But-“

            “But my … Gather yourself up and get in already. I can no longer help you because…” Chanyeol heard the voice of clipboard slamming against the lecturer’s desk, Chanyeol gulped, “My lecturer caught me.”

          “Oops!” Baekhyun gasped.

          “PARK CHANYEOL!!!” The lecturer shouted.

            The phone call ended, and Baekhyun smiled, feeling relaxed a little. As long as Chanyeol was with him, vitamin is not needed. Even Baekhyun himself could not explain why Chanyeol was that special, maybe they were childhood friends? He did not know.

            After took a deep breath and let out a long sigh, Baekhyun took heavy steps to walk into the university via the main entrance, which is extremely huge and was decorated extravagantly.

            Baekhyun was in awe, deeply in awe. The people who walk, talk and act in front of him were so different, so professional that Baekhyun really wish that he could be one of them one day.

            “Uhm… Mister?” A boy patted Baekhyun’s shoulder.

            Baekhyun shivered for a second before he turn around. “Yes?” he answered sheepishly.

            After he met the boy’s eyes, he fell in astonishment again, because Look at that face! Perfect cheekbones, adorable eyes, slender lips, and beautiful eyelashes. Male god.

            “May I know where SME Radio Club’s room is?” The boy questioned, blinking.

            “Sorry, I’m a freshmen actually… I don’t know.” Baekhyun replied shyly.

            The boy’s eyes widened, his smile getting wider and wider, the corners of his lip was curving upwards cutely, and his facial structure twinkled. He jumped and hugged Baekhyun, causing Baekhyun jerked and yelped. Then, the boy took Baekhyun’s right hand and handshake with him excitedly and violently.

            “You’re new too!? Me too! Nice to meet you! Name’s Kim JongDae, but just call me Chen! You must be wondering why isn’t it!? I love to eat orange! And orange is called as Chen in mandarin! So it became my nickname! When you repeat my name twice, it’s adorable! Like, ChenChen! See! It’s so pleasant to hear! I sing ballad! So I will major in music! My tutor is Kim Jonghyun! It’s Jonghyun! He is just so amazing! He was a student here! He is my idol! I always want to be a person like him! I like pink colour! I don’t know why people will say that pink is girlish, but for me, pink is fresh and new! Don’t judge my external look, I am actually a neatfreak! It’s just that I have no fashion sense! My hair might look dry like lion, but the truth is, I wash my hair five times a day, so… you know… I like to learn and try new things! That’s why I want to enter SME Radio Club as I love to talk! I might look stupid and dumb, but actually I am average in academic! Not too good and not too bad! At least not as bad until my mom wants to bang her head on the wall! But when she did, it is most likely due to my overactive mouth!” Chen finished his long introduction in one shot, and put an end with his charming smile.

            Baekhyun, on the other hand, felt weird and… more weird at Chen’s special introduction. Male god image gone. To avoid tension, Baekhyun forced out an awkward laugh, “My name is Byun Baekhyun, will major in Business Management and Account.” Baekhyun introduced himself shortly. “I will take music class as my extra class too.” He continued.

            “That is super-duper great!” Chen hollered and pulled Baekhyun into his tight hug again. Chen pulled back and announced, “Baekhyun, today onwards, you are my NEW BEST FRIEND!”

            Chen grab Baekhyun’s hand and ran to the auditorium at block A for orientation session for freshmen.

          He is my… new best friend. Baekhyun felt even weirder but nevertheless, let out his sincere smile.

            “Oh, I think I am lost. This place is just too large.” Kyungsoo sighed.

            Upon hearing someone conversing with each other, he looked towards the direction where the sound came from. He saw two boys who almost his height chatting happily. Without hesitation, he walked to them in order to ask for directions.

            "Baekhyun." Chen called out and Baekhyun hummed in response, "Tell me you are my new best friend."

            "Har?!?!" Baekhyun widened his eyes and scratched is forehead, weirded out again on Chen's behaviour. What is wrong with this kid???

            "You... are... my... new best friend"

            "Yay!!!!!!" Chen cheered and did his funky dance.

            Chen is indeed… weird, but undeniably, he is a pleasant friend.  Chanyeol-ah, he is my friend. Baekhyun smiled with his eyes closed momentarily.

            Baekhyun gasped in horror the moment he opened his eyes due to the scene in front of him. Chen was hugging or strangling a black-haired boy and scarily, that boy was gasping vigorously for air, as if he was about to pass out and die.

            Out of worry, Baekhyun yelled, "Yah! Chen! Put him down! He's dying!"

            Chen sulked and unwillingly let go of the boy, and that was the time Baekhyun took the chance to look at the boy’s face.

            He's cute. Was the first statement crossed Baekhyun's mind.

            "He's squishy! I could not resist myself to hug him! So cute! Like a fluffy teddy bear!" Chen reasoned himself while still sulking.

            "Your name? Are you a freshmen too?" Baekhyun asked in a friendly manner while patting the boy's back.

            "Yes, freshmen, name's Do Kyungsoo." The boy choked out softy, hanging his head low. “And I’m lost.”

            "Are you shy? Oh please don't! Feel free to talk with us! Because you are my new best friend! Too!" Here comes Chen's voice again, expectedly.

            A warm smile formed on Kyungsoo's lips, followed by a sincere and thankful "Thank you."

            "I realized something important." Chen mumbled with his low, serious tone, but it could be clearly heard by Baekhyun and Kyungsoo. Both of them to switch their attention to Chen. The atmosphere turned dense, full of seriousness.

            "Three of us are short. If we formed a band, I probably will call us as THE DWARFS!"

            Both Baekhyun and Kyungsoo both snickered and face palmed themselves at that outburst.
