The constant clicking of the keyboard was strangely comforting.  Mark was just lying in his bed scrolling through his phone and Youngjae was on his laptop on the top bunk. Mark was smiling to himself thinking how comfortable it was when the clicking stop and he saw Youngjae foot dangling from the side. "Mark, Can I ask for a favour?" Youngjae consciously asked.  He knew Mark wasn't asleep even thought Mark hadn't made a single noise in the last hour or so. 

"Yeah go ahead" Mark said trying to sound as kind as possible.  Mark and Youngjae have just started sharing the room. For now they were still conscious of each other and tip toed around each other.  Being very mindful of each other needs.  But they both couldn't explain it why they both liked it so much.  

"It's so stuffy up here" a small pause and then Youngjae continued " I was just wondering if I could You know come down and we could, I mean I bet it so much cooler down there and I promise I won't take much space."  Mark found it cute how Youngjae blabbers when he is nervous.  " Yeah it is cool down here.  Come on then"  Mark shifted to the corner making space for youngjae. 

"Really? WOWWWW" Youngjae jumped down from the top bunk but his voice went up.  He immediately shut up when he saw that he has surprised Mark with his loud rash action. Mark with his eye wide open raised his righteyebrow like he was asking youngjae "what the hell was that?". Youngjae gave him a little  bow as a sorry and plopped himself next to mark.  

Mark body was covered by a thin blanket tucked under his armpit as his arm were out holding his phone.  Mark liked sleeping shirtless so it was no a big deal for youngjae.  " As expected it is much nicer and cooler down here."  Youngjae yawn mid sentence.  "Why didn't youn bring your blanket down with you?" Mark asked.

 'I thought it was too hot so I won' t need one"

"But it's a lil chilly go grab it"  Mark tried to push Youngjae using his leg.  Youngjae swiftly grabbed Mark's arm and complained he was too sleepy.  "It's ok, It' warm enough"  Youngjae smiled at Mark as he snuggled to Mark whole body with just the blanket between them.  Youngjae put one of his leg ontop of mark and closed his eyes.  "goodnight"  Youngjae mumbled.  It all happened so fast Mark had no time to protest this uninvited skinship. He wasn't sure he wanted to protest.  

Mark still had his phone on the hand but Youngjae had hold of his right hand so it was awkward to use it.  He quietly put it down on his stomach and closed his eye to go to sleep.  Both of them fell into deep sleep that night.  Mark phone screensaver which was the picture of him and Youngjae taken on the first day they were official roomates  slowly when black and the night got deeper.
