Maven was bad at reading intentions. She naturally assumed that people were being nice; and reciprocated accordingly. That never went well with the boys in her university.

One of the things Maven liked about Kyungsoo was that he was completely sincere with her. A walk home is a walk home, a phone call is a phone call, a help with the dishes is a help with the dishes.

With Kyungsoo, she didn't need to be wary of reading anything else. Kyungsoo would say it like it is, in a heartbeat. She never felt confused with him, or felt like he only wanted her to like him. She knew Kyungsoo would never blame her and accuse her of leading him on.

She just wished the boys who wanted to date her took a leaf off Kyungsoo's book.

For those who just wanted someone to be completely sincere towards them.
