" Why do you do this to yourself"-Pat asked, her eyes shining with tears. Chanyeol sighed.

" Why did you do this to yourself"-Pat asked, her eyes shining with tears. Chanyeol sighed.
" Pain was the only thing that had told me....... I was still alive."- he murmured in her ear, sending sweet tremors through her whole body.
Pat slowly traced the scars on Chanyeol's arm and she didn't know why fate had kept them apart for so long....they were finally together now and it was too late, Pat didn't have much time left and she still couldn't bring herself to tell Chanyeol the truth. He looked happy and she did not want to take that happiness away from him. He had suffered enough.
Tears rolled down her cheek and he brushed them off.
"Hey, don't cry. I have finally found you. Everything's gonna be okay as long as you are with me. We will be alright. I am telling you, this stupid war is going to get over and we will all be okay."- he said, kissing her tears off her face.
"we will be."- Pat said, her voice faint. She buried her face in his neck, hugging him tightly. She could not face the sparkle of hope gleaming in his bright eyes. Fate was cruel to them and Pat was no longer strong enough to embrace all the stones thrown at her by reality. Chanyeol had made her strong but he had also made her weak with his love and she was done fighting against it, she was happy...atleast she had finally been able to meet him, her missing other half....
