A mysterious pharmaceutical company from America has begun rounding up test subjects for it’s latest enterprise: Project V, a disease which has been created to end the threat of world overpopulation. The virus works like this; a human is injected with the virus, and over the course of a painful 24 hours their DNA will undergo a dramatic change. Their muscles will grow and strengthen, the lining of their digestive system will be altered, their bones will become hollow, and, most importantly, they will develop a taste for human blood. The virus is then carried in the blood of the new System, and can be passed on to humans if they drink or absorb the System’s blood. The Systems are classified by rank: the A Systems were directly injected with the virus when Project V was started. They then chose select humans to give their blood to, and they became the B Systems. Once again, the B Systems chose their candidates to become the C Systems. However, instead of choosing those who would become the D Systems, the C Systems were let lose in the capital cities of Asiatic countries, (where overpopulation posed the greatest threat), such as Seoul, Korea. After the Cs had created hundreds of new Systems, the D Systems were rounded up and placed together in compounds funded by the company in charge of Project V. One such group consisted of six very lost, confused, and different boys who would have to make the choice to accept their fate and become part of the Virus or fight it and put an end to it before it could destroy the world.
