I've never met one quite like her. She was annoying and prissy, and never one to actually step out in the field and do the dirty work herself. But her father's pay was pretty, and we knew the bounty on our heads if we ever disagreed with her would be huge, no killer would leave a chance like that alone. Our worth could go up to the millions, billions if she felt bitter enough, and we weren't asking for death just yet.

     After all, she could order us out with just one sweet word and I wasn't looking forward to the day that I'd piss her off so much that she'd call for my head on a silver platter.
