Description
Baekhyun was an ordinary high school student. Chanyeol was an 18 years old mafia boss.
Each day, Chanyeol took a new bride, only to be shipped off at dawn to the mafia king in Italy. Baekhyun was Chanyeol's 31st groom. While the first 30 spouses were immediately divorced and sent away in just one night, Baekhyun stayed. The public thought that the young mafia boss probably fell in love, for he can't bring himself to send his new husband away. Well, for once, the public was right. But someone had to pay the price.

Disclaimer: This fanfic of mine is very very very loosely based on that novel. I only adapted the "Each night he takes a new bride only to have a silk cord wrapped around come morning" part. There's no story within story like the famous 1001 Nights, there's no palace, and obviously no magic here like the magnificent world Ms. Renee Ahdieh built in The Wrath and the Dawn series.
Author note: I've written this fic for like a year, but never got the time to actually finish it because of Blue Sonder. This fic is a mess and so unreal, but that is why this is an AU, right? Anyway, I hope everyone would enjoy this.
Let's hope I actually could finish this fic.
