Take That, Thief!

As soon as you shut your diary, your stomach started grumbling in hunger. Realizing that it was almost dinner time, you headed out of the boutel in search for a place to eat at. Finally, you stopped at a little restaurant. Your eyes shone at the sight of the mouth-watering food in front of you, and without further ado, you dug in and enjoyed the meal heartily. When you finally headed out, it was already starting to get late, but because you wanted to make the most out of the night, you decided to explore the area and look around the quaint little shops scattered all over the place.

After hours of window-shopping, you realized that you should start heading back to the boutel. While walking back, your imagination started wandering again.

Is it possible for me to bump into a celebrity in the streets like this? You giggled at the thought and began daydreaming about what you would do if you met one of the boys from INFINITE on the way.

When you entered the boutel, you were surprised to find the front desk empty. You looked at the clock hanging on the wall. 11:15 pm.

Finally feeling the tiredness creep into your bones, you ascended the stairs. As you stepped on the landing of the the next set of steps, you vaguely caught a glimpse of a person in dark clothing with a big cap that covered most of his face. He was walking suspiciously fast, so he was already gone before you could take a good look at him.

When you finally reached your floor, you noticed that Creepy Guy was also there walking in the hallway. He seemed to be darting nervous looks behind him. You were starting to get a teensy bit scared, so you observed him while walking a few paces behind. Somehow, he must have been wary of your presence because he immediately quickened his steps. He walked past the third room, further down the hall. 

Trying to convince yourself that he must be occupying the room next to yours, you took a deep breath and tried to calm your wits.

Every floor had five rooms: yours was the fifth and last room, and it was located at the end of the hallway. Since the man had already passed the third room, the only logical possibility was that he must be going into the fourth room. To your surprise -- and fear -- however, the man did not stop at the fourth room. He still continued towards the end of the corridor.

Where's he going?! There are no more rooms there aside from mine!

Fear gnawed at you as you watched Creepy Guy finally stop and stand in front the door of your room, Room 315. Not knowing what to do, you also stopped walking and pretended to be going into the room 314 instead. You opened your bag and faked looking for your key card while discreetly continuing to watch the man from the corner of your eyes.

THIEF! He probably hasn't realized that I’m the owner of the room he’s breaking into! Should I run? Should I scream? WAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH! What should I do???!!!

As you saw him reach his hand to his pocket, you clutched the hard foldable umbrella inside your bag, ready to attack him any moment. He finally found the key card and tried to open the door. He seemed be jumpy and tense, and he accidentally dropped the card he was holding. It landed behind a potted plant outside the door, and you watched in alert as he stoop down to look for it. Taking the chance, you quickly ran towards him with your umbrella up in the air. He must have heard the sudden flurry of footsteps behind him, but before he could  turn his head, your umbrella had already hit home base. 

TAKE THAT, THIEF!

He was instantly knocked out unconscious on the floor. You couldn’t decide whether to approach the thief or to go back downstairs to ask for help.

But there’s no one at the front desk right now.

Cautiously, you approached the man who was lying face down on the floor and poked his side with your foot. The hit must have been pretty good because he didn't even stir. From beneath the cap that he was wearing, you could see tufts of light brown hair.

So. The thief was a dandy guy. How amusing.

As you bended down a bit to take a closer look at the man, something about him caught your attention. The dark cap had ridden off his head a bit when he fell, and you could see a bit of his face. Oddly, he reminded you of someone.

But that's impossible. Surely, he can't be...

Your curiosity got the better of you, however, and before you knew it, you were already holding the edge of the his cap, ready to take it off. Taking a deep breath, you yanked the cap off the man's head.

What you saw almost made your eyeballs pop out of their sockets and your jaw meet the ground. After a few seconds of gaping,  pinched yourself to see if you were dreaming.

It hurt.

‘Dear Gods of Fangirling,’ you thought as you stared in disbelief at the person lying in front of you. 'Is this a joke?'
