“Yo bro, are you sure you won’t crash my car?” Jungyeon asks as she secures her seatbelt while gulping.

Chaeyoung just flashes her driving license and her dimpled smile. “Trust me.” She looks through the rearview mirror to see similar apprehension mirrored on Dahyun’s face. “Now, are y’all ready for the ride of your lives?”

The ride is going so surprisingly smooth that the two passengers feel safe and comfortable enough to get takeout to eat in the car. Dahyun is already all sprawled out in the backseat, seatbelt off as she chomps down on her fries. “Woah smol, your driving is better than I expected.”

Chaeyoung clicks her tongue as she stops the car at the traffic junction. She turns around to lock eyes with Dahyun. “I’m offended at your lack of faith in me.”

She turns her attention back to the road as Jungyeon throws her napkins at Dahyun’s face, grimacing at the tofu at the back. “Yah yah! You better not leave any crumbs in my car.”

Chaeyoung whistles as she focuses on the road, looking at this particular pedestrian currently crossing the road. She breaks up the potential fight between the two as they immediately turn to the front, knowing the sign. Chaeyoung points at a brunette in a white turtleneck, crossing the road hurriedly. She’s one lane away from their car and upon seeing her, the two let out gasps.

“Woah, she’s really pretty…” Jungyeon says as Dahyun replies with a “Yeah…”

Chaeyoung smirks as she puts the gear to Drive. “I’m going to hit on her.”

“Woah wait what are you going to-“

Chaeyoung floors the accelerator and the car shoots forward before she jams the break again. The sudden brake disorientated all three in the car, and Dahyun was even thrown off the seat. The two in front recover first, and once they do, they scream. They unbuckle their belts at the same time, rushing to get off the car.

“You said you were going to hit on her, not hit her with the car!” Jungyeon exclaims as she opens the car door.

“I didn’t know your car accelerates this much! It wasn’t supposed to shoot out this much!” Chaeyoung shouts back as she stumbles out of the car.

Dahyun staggers out last, mouth agape. “Holy .”
