“Got it!”

His eyes vanish into little slits as he darts down the small hill, through the patch of tall grass to the upside down basket with his pink and blue robes swaying in the wind behind him. She watches him kneel down beside the basket with a proud smile, repeating over to her that he’d caught it when in reality she was the one who pulled the string. He waits eagerly as she lifts the basket and carefully wraps her hand around the tiny sparrow to show him. His smile grows and the sight draws her breathless, every single damn time.

He smiles again and extends a hand out for hers. “Nice to meet you Hera. I’m Byun Baekhyun, a producer here at SM.”

Hera runs the name over and over in her head but nothing comes up. She’s never met a Baekhyun ever in her life but she’s sure she’s seen him somewhere before.

“H-have we ever met before?” Hera asks after some slight hesitation.
