Ever since she was little he as been by her side. Hyun Joon Oppa would protect her from the monsters undreneath her bed and carrying her on his back when she feel and hurt herself. He allowed her to mess up her pretty dresses so she could practice fighting and boyish activites when no other would. This was probably why they could not be, but she so wished he would stand by her side forever. 

Amber was always different from the other princesses. She never complained about having a rough time and always tried her best in whatever she did. She didn't mind getting messy and wanted to do everything I did. She would follow me round like a lost puppy begging me to fight her. Or at least teach her to fight. She was better than most of my men but then again she always tired her best and worked hard. But I shouldn't think this way I am betrothed to her younger sister. And she is to be the next wife of the Qing Emperor. Even if she returned my love we would be doomed to watch each other grow old with someone else.
