Description

Some people wish for wealth, some for health, and some for long life, I had a different thing in mind. I watched as the dime fell down the well and create ripples as I softly said, "I wish I would find....the one."

"What are you doing here?"

I looked up to see the owner of the voice. I prayed to God he didn't hear what I said cause man my self esteem will disappear into thin air.

"Nothing...."

Foreword

I thought that love was a harmful thing and that no one would look at me that way. That no one would pick up my hand and tell me "I love you." That I would never experience that saying butterflies in your stomach, that I would never be able to find...the one. Will my only wish give me what I have been searching for my entire life?
