Starry Night
Description
"When I’m lost and wandering, be my star
Will you be my star for my unknown tomorrow?
Across the night when everyone’s leaving
Be my friend
Be my starlight"
-lyrics of Starry Night.
Foreword
There comes a time when you have to choose between turning the page and closing the book.
"So, how's your day?"
She bit her lower lip. Her hand reached out for the straps of her Prada handbag, clenching it tight. The sky has already turned red, the day was almost over. She quietly sat at the bus stop, trying to compose herself.
"Shinhye?"
"Ah. Yes. It was fun." Her vision already appeared blurry, unintentional tears filled her eyes. The raven haired girl couldn't breathe properly, she was even afraid to take a single deep breath. If she did, he would definitely hear her sob through the phone.
"Really? I'm glad. I can sleep properly now that everything's fine." He chuckled softly that a surge of happiness sipped into her dark heart. His laugh had always been a melody to her ears and how she wished that she could hear more than just a small chuckle.
"You should sleep now." She uttered after composing herself.
"Okay. I love you."
Silence.
Not too long after that, her cheeks were wet with tears, her breathings went irregular. She was crying again at the lonely bus stop.
"When are you coming back? I missed you."
The fragile girl finally spoke but it was only when he already hung up.
Again, she felt alone in this world.
It's been a while. Feeling bad about my long hiatus, so this came out.
Angst. If you can't handle angst, then I suggest that you turn back,
A YongShin oneshot.
