Description

He's always been good composing music. In fact, most of their band's hit single was written by him. But then there came a time when he couldn't think of anything. Days turns to weeks and his boss is now demanding for their first single to be recorded. He never thought that he's gonna use those old notes.

Foreword

FREE FALL

Prologue:

"GD, I NEED THE SONG by this week" his Sajangnim entered the recording studio.

Jiying was alone in the room, trying to compose one more song. They've already recorded a few, but Teddy, YG's record producer, wouldn't approve any of those to be their first single. He was looking for a song which exudes emotions and vulnerability from their band. Something that would tell the world that they also could feel love and pain. Something similar to If You.

"Why can't we just choose from the songs we already recorded?" He sighed exasperatedly, as his tossed his pen aside. "I can't really think of anything!"

Hyunsuk crossed his arms on his chest as he leaned on the table, facing Jiyong. "Teddy didn't approve any of those, and count me in. There's something missing with those. I told you, this album is about you and what you boys would feel when you're in love and broken. Those songs, they're just not enough. I want the song to have that deep meaning."

"Why do we have to do this?" He looked straight in the eye of YG.

Hyunsuk shook his head, "with all the scandals and dating rumors, you need something that people would hold on to. Something to prove them that you're humans too. They look at you like you're too perfect and you can't fall in love. And that's what we want to change. Their perspective of you guys."

"Fine, but if I can't compose 'til this weekend, we'd have to settle with what we already have" he gave up.

"Or we can maybe wait for another week?" Hyunsuk smiled playfully.

"Yah!" He pointed at him accusingly. "Why were you pressuring me then?"

"Because whether you know or not, you GD, could always produce something big when you're under pressure and I'm entrusting you this one" he just patted his shoulder and left.

With his mind blank, Jiyong slouch on the chair and sighed. He usually have something up on his head to write down but at that moment, it's like his mind was just a blank sheet of paper. Maybe he could blame it with him being single at the moment or the issues some of the members were experiencing. But no, he wrote songs out of passion and his emotions. And there's a lot of reasons for him to write a song. Albeit, not even a phrase would be appropriate for the theme of the song.

Feeling dejected, he got up from the chair and walked out. He just wanted to go home and continue working there. Being in the same building with YG and Teddy was a lot of pressure for him already. It's too stressful that he even forgot to have his dinner and it's already passed nine in the evening. He decided to just get something to go.

" THIS!" HE HISSED, crumpling the paper in front of him, which just had three words written on it.

He sighed, giving it up, and walked into his room. He bounced on the bed and stared at the ceiling with boredom. Even sleep wasn't possible at the moment, because his mind was too clouded with all the problems he had.

People might think that living his life as G-Dragon was all golds and glitters, but no. It's the exact opposite. He couldn't enjoy going out with friends without any rumours impending to come out the next morning. Heck, he couldn't even hang out with a girl friend or a girlfriend. Living an idol's life was suffocating.

He wandered back to the days when he was still a normal teenager, attending school. As a kid, he's got a lot of friends. Sonce then, he's been the life of the group. He always had this charisma that attracts people. Boys wanted to be friends with him, some envied him, and girls? Girls just dig him. He would always receive gifts from them.

Jiyong always hated thise gifts before. Don't get him wrong, he's not being an or anything, but the fact that they spend money just to give him something irritates, when they could buy themselves things that they need. He never wanted to look like he's exploiting girls who had a crush on him.

But among those fangirls he had, one particular girl stood out. Someone without a face or a name. He never got to see her. But she definitely made an impression to him. He teied finding out who the mistery girl was, but he failed. She was good hiding herself. She didn't even leave any clues for him to trail her.

A smile broke from his face as memories flashed through him. How could someone unknown peaked his interest just like that? Maybe it was because of the mystery behind her? Or maybe because it's her love notes? He didn't know and maybe he wouldn't be able to know, at all. That was more than ten years ago.

With that thought, he got up from his bed and went to open one of his drawers, inside his closet. He pulled out a small black box. Sitting on the carpeted floor, he pulled the lid and inside, colorful sticky notes were piled carefully. Pulling out the first one, he couldn't help but smile widely when a familiar feeling surged thru him, as he read the content.

Looking at you from afar

Had my heart speeding like a car

You're pure and sweet, like honey in a jar

And you might find me bizarre

A chuckle escaped his throat. That was the very first note he received from her. He knew that it was from a girl, basing it from the way she wrote, legible and neat. Plus the pink sticky note and the gold ink. He arranged those according to the date he received it, from the first one to last. Putting down the first next to the box, he pulled out the second one

A smile broke from your lips

It feels like witnessing an eclipse

I almost thought there was an apocalypse

Because it shook me to my fingertips

The notes were strange, yes. Because the way she described her feelings were too overwhelming for him. It never crossed his mind that someone far from him was actually infatuated with him. He never thought that someone had an unrequitted love for him. He kept on reading until his phone broke the silence in his room.

"GD, you left early?" It was Teddy.

"Neh, I couldn't think earlier and I was tired so I went home to rest" he explained.

"How's the song going?"

"Still nothing, but Hyung, I have an idea for the song" he smiled with what he thought.

"What?! That's good news! Can we expect a draft by tomorrow?" Teddy exclaimed.

"Neh, but I need your help. Can we meet first before going to the studio?" He asked, with feeling of excitement.

"Sure! What time and where?" Teddy asked.

After he gave the information, he ended the call. He stared at the notes in front of him. Whoever wrote those love notes for him, he sure would find out soon. It's either she shows up or there will be no song. They couldn't afford another plagiarism scandal, so they'd have to find her soon.

A/N: well say hello to this new fanfic! Although this will be just a one-shot fic again. Maybe I can create a full story for this, but no. I'm sticking to just one-shot. I can't afford another story as All For Show needs my full attention right now. It's just that this plot is bugging me for two days now. And i just had to give in or i'll go insane.

Full story will be posted either tomorrow or the day after!

Tschüs!
