Description
Dealing with depression and social anxiety, Chen tries to make life as comfortable as he can to ease that pain. He spends most of his time alone and invisible by choice. It made everything that much easier for him. Hidden away from the things that most people consider make life worth living, he meets someone that is determined to find his own place in that sanctuary with him.
Foreword
"I'm not really friend material."
"Yet you are my friend. I mean, we kinda are? Look at all the bonding we went through."
Chen shook his head and felt the frustration finally reach the surface. "You don't understand. I came here today to prove a point. Point proved, I at parties, I at people and I at being someone's friend. Before you know it, I will ignore you and well, you won't even care. Because I will bring you down. You like these sort of things and I don't. We don't fit."
It's mainly inspired by how I have experienced depression over the years and how some people can make it harder, or ease your burden.
