At the age of eighteen, in human years of course, every Aerona and Warlock is assigned a human. Depending on which of the two is better at their duties, the assigned human either lives or dies. It's kind of unfair isn't it, to have one's death determined by someone else? Well, life has always been unfair to begin with.

What exactly is the purpose of this whole competition? Simply to see which of the two parties is better. The winner gains strength while the loser has to deal with whatever punishment is set by The Elders.

Despite it being a friendly competition between the two realms, tension does still take place, and residents of both realms do die. Despite them being immortals, both parties have the capability to harm each other. Should Aeronas be affected by dark magic, either they heal themselves or have the dark magic removed by the very same Warlock that has harmed them. On the other hand, when Warlocks are affected by good magic - and occasionally dark magic -, they will die. However, for an upper-class level Warlock, it's different. Only a Warrior Aerona is strong enough to kill him.

Kim Na Ra, also known as the only remaining Warrior Aerona. While Aeronas may fall sick very often from healing, Kim Na Ra rarely gets affected. The only time dark magic works on her is when it is coming from the only remaining upper-class level Warlock, also known as Cha Eun Woo. Despite that, Kim Na Ra is still capable of healing herself, only that it would take a longer time. Unfortunately, as strong as Kim Na Ra is, healers cannot heal other healers.
