It was a cold winter evening when i was looking out the window, watching the fluffy snow fall down on the ground which was already covered in white. I meowed and curled up into a ball. I felt so cold...and lonely. Being in the pet shop already for a year, from when i was born. Nobody has ever picked me up. I was different from the others. I had really soft and thick fur, big hazel eyes and my fur was fully white. Just like the snow. I jumped up in surprise as the door bell rang and someone stepped in, shaking his head to get the snow off his hair. It was quite dark so i could only see a figure of a really tall and slim man. When he came closer to the lights, i could see his red hair falling to his eyes. He looked at the pet shop owner and flashed him a bright smile. "I am here to get a kitty," he said in a low tone and the shop owner got up, smiling as he walked to the kitty section where i was as well. The tall man followed him. When i looked closer at him, i could see his big shining eyes, his bright white teeth as he smiled and his strong arms which i was imagining to be in. I suddenly wanted him to hold me tight. I meowed, trying to get some attention but he was only focusing on the other black colored kittens. I layed down and closed my eyes. I thought it was all pointless when i felt a few warm fingers rubbing my tiny back. I opened my eyes only to see the tall red-haired man rubbing my back and smiling gently at me. "Kitten, you are so cute. Can I take you?" he said softly with his husky voice and picked me up gently. The shop owner spoken up; "You can take the kitten for free, mister." He smiled widely and then i saw the tall man's eyes brighten. He bowed lowly and said a loud "Thank you" before hugging me in his arms warmly. I have never thought that actually my dream will come true. I had a strong pair of arms hugging me in a warm embrace and i felt so safe and happy.
