Prologue :

I on run like usual at the school field at night, I like it when there’s no one at field and I can release my tension and don’t have to deal with people.

My life as a high school student went from bad to worse since Jason Malique come into my life.

After 2 hours of running , I finally take a rest in the middle of the field , lay down and face the sky.

“How can there’s so many stars tonight?”

While enjoying my night breeze,

Suddenly i feels like there someone besides me, I turn my face to the right.

“, what are you doing here?!” I shouted.

“Sorry ! I didn’t mean to scare you” state Jason.

I quickly stand up and I am about to ignore and leave Jason alone but he quickly hold my hand.

“Look Clara , I need to talk to you. Don’t walk away from me please.”

“Let me go first okay.”

He let my hands go and look intensely right into my eyes.

“What do you want more from me, Jason ?. I thought you done making my life miserable.”

“Yeap, im so done with that. Look I’ll just go straight to the question alright.”

“Are you going to the school prom ?”

I nodded to him

“Will you be my date to prom then ?” ask Jason nervously.

I literally give the most powerful glare at him

“WHAT ?! Are you out of your mind Jason ?  You must be kidding me.”

“You know im so done with you Jason. Just stop and leave me alone okay ? its not that hard to do so.”

Jason take both of my hands and gently hold it.

“Im sorry with what I have done to you, I know its hard for you to forgive me and I know that its hard for you to take this seriously but im being serious right now. Believe me Clara.”

My heart kinda skip a beat when he hold my hand and intensely look into my eyes but I quickly tell myself that this guy in front of me is a jerk and he is about to make a plan to make me look like a fool sooner or later.

I pull my hand away from his.

“Well then too bad Jason, I already have my date for that night. And just to let you know that even if I don’t have any date for that night I would not let myself stupidly accept your offer and honestly you never in the list at the very first place.” I stated with one breath to him.

“Who is your date , Clara ?” ask Jason who seems to be very frustrated with my answer.

“He’s from the joint school for our prom that night. He is the one who always win for very field and track competition. And his name is Mark.” says I proudly to Jason

Jason who look very shocked and ask me whether the guy name is Mark Steve.

And I nodded to him. After that I leave him alone at the field.

 

4 days after and its finally PROM NIGHT !

I open my laptop and immediately on my skype.

I smile brightly upon seeing my best friend face

“OMG DEAN !! SO THANKFUL THAT I GOT TO SEE YOUR FACE!!” I shouted

Then quickly leave my laptop to wear my dress tonight and show it to him

“OMG girl ! calm down alright. Why you so excited Clara ?” Dean asks me calmly

I shouted from my wardrobe “I HAVE PROM TONIGHT MR ! I DID TOLD YOU 3 NIGHT BACK. OMG DEAN YOU ARE IGNORANT SOMETIMES YOU KNOW.”

And quickly shows him my dress to him through skype.

“What do you think, Dean ? Does this look good on me ?”

Dean look at me with his mouth wide open. And I jokingly says “Dean close your mouth please. HAHAHA”

He quickly regained his mind “Wow Clara, you look so beautiful in that dress! The cutting of the dress just fit you perfectly babe.”

My heart fluttered at Dean honest thought , I know Dean would not lie.

“Thankyou Dean. You know you’re the best right ?”

“Do you have a date for tonight ?”

“Yeap! And seems like the guy is kinda popular among the girls at my school”

“So how do you got him Clara ?” asks Dean

“oh well i randomly meet him at Starbucks and he saw my beg got my school’s logo so he ask me right away for prom”

Then suddenly my door bell rings

“Oh My God Dean ! he’s here! Gotta go. Im so nervous !!! will catch up with you later alright ! love ya !!” then I quickly turn off my laptop and went downstairs

I open my door and see Mark standing with the bracelet flower

He look so tall and handsome with his black suit white shirt inside and red bow tie matching with my red dress tonight

My heart feels like to burst out from my chest and suddenly I feels like its difficult to breath but to cover that all up so

I smile brightly to him “You look great , Mark!”

“You look beautiful too Clara !” replied Mark with a sweet smile of him

Mark quickly put the bracelet flower to my left hand and he take my other hand to hold his  hand

“Shall we go ?”

“Sure, lets go !!” replied me happily

As soon we arrive at the prom night hall , after Mark found a place to park his car

We walk together to the hall but suddenly Mark stop walking

“Clara how about you go inside first? I left my phone in the car.” stated Mark

“Oh sure! I’ll wait inside.”

So I end up walking alone to the hall but I found it strange because as I enter the hall

All the lights is off and seems like there’s no people inside

As I step a little bit more into the hall

Two bucket of water were being thrown on me from the above

And suddenly I can hear people laughing and clapping

As I open my eyes I can see Jason is running towards me

He quickly take off his suit and put it on my shoulder

But I immediately throw it on the ground and slap his face

“WHAT IS THIS JASON ? SO MUCH OF DONE MAKING MY LIFE MISERABLE ?” I shouted.

Jason boldly against my words  “Clara this is a misunderstanding ! this is not me, I didn’t plan this ! I swear to god !”

“Yeah right Jason ! is this a revenge because I didn’t want to be your date for tonight so you want to make me feel like crap? HUH !?” I choked up my words

Someone put a suit on my shoulder and when I turn my face and its Mark.

“Mark , im so sorry but I can’t do this. I want to go back.”

Mark quickly grab my hand “Alright lets go, I’ll sent you home”

Before I go with him , I look at Jason

“Please don’t ever appear in front of me anymore. I actually give a 2 cent of thought on forgiving you and make it’s a zero zero situation between us but you make it hard for me now, Jason”
