YongGuk pouted at Eunji in front of the university. He hugged her arm and she set herself free with an annoyed sigh.  “No.”

“Why ?”

Eunji tiptoed to reach his cheek properly, she pinched it and started to nagg him. “You have to greet your mom at least. Today just do whatever you want. You can't come to class with me, I have a strict professor today he won't let you go in.“

“You're mean.” He said, removing her little hand from his face, because of that she stumbled and ended in his arms. YongGuk giggled and hugged her in front of the university. He thought she would pull away embarassed but she stayed in the hug a little too much to be credible when she pulled away groaning.

“I'm doing this so this weekend I'm all yours.” She remembered him. He asked her to go on a date on saturday, so she needed to be prepared to study this week.

YongGuk nodded playig the nonchalant boyfriend. "Okay I have things to do anyways.” He put his hands in his jeans pockets and grinned to her, making Eunji realize how confident YongGuk became. Some girls were eying him making her feel how the young man in front of her grew as a more confident one.

She jokingly punched his arm, making him gasp “See you tonight !”

YongGuk groaned and went to his knees."Control your strengh. You hurt me !!!"

 He looked at her walk to the entrance oblivious to him faking to be hurt. She was walking with light and quick steps, almost jumping around. He bursted in laugh seeing that and receiving weird glances from the students, he finally went away.

“Gukkie. Finally you're home.” His mom said before hugging him with strengh. He giggled and lifted her, succeeding in maing her laugh. His sister arrived and poked his shoulder. “You're here, lazy .”

His mom made him sit and started to prepar a whole bunch of stuffs for breakfast. YongGuk had already had breakfast, but didn't want to make her sad so he just ate with them.

“With Eunji, everything is okay ?” His mom asked. She heard of the news by YongJoon and partially YongGuk. So she was worried and curious over what happened.

“Yes, we talked with each other. She just felt lonely.” He explained with a small smile.

“Oh. Be careful she ditch you because she's tired of waiting.” Natasha said, she knew by some friends in the same situation that dating a guy in his military service duty was quite dificult. A lot of people end up breaking up.

YongGuk  hissed at these words. “ I thought about asking her, you know .... to be engaged”

His mom widened her eyes and screamed of joy. She hugged him violently and ended up sitting on his lap. “That would be so awesome !!! ”

“But what if she says no ?” Natasha said carefully. They are still so young. Is Eunji willing to deepen the relation like this ?

“I hope she won't. We're going on a date this saturday. I need to find a ring by then.”

YongGuk sighed and left the house with his mom and sister. They wanted to assist him while he would chose the ring. Monitor him. He couldn't buy something very expensive, yet he wanted something beautiful and that she would like. He had no idea of the measures or anything and when asked questions about it by the seller he got really confused. The women of his family were not of any help on this too.

"What you can do is taking a ring of hers and we'll match the size of the engagement ring to the one you bring to us." The saleswoman said.

YongGuk came back to the flat and tried to find a ring. Eunji wasn't a jewelry-type of girl. She had not much jewelry, all kept in the box her mom gave her. YongGuk sat on the bed and opened the box. Despite knowing he was doing this for something good, it felt like breaking her intimacy. He found her necklaces and soon to his relief, he found two rings. Pretty similar in size, he took one of them only and put it in his wallet. Suddenly, he noticed a second compartement in the box and opened it completely to see it properly. He found two things. A earphone, with Eunji written. It was really small and sparkly. He quickly get that it was her earphone, when she was a theater starlette. The second thing was her hearing aids. Since the end of high school, she didn't wear it once. He didn't know she kept it. It was so expensive. He looked at the thing that made her suffer for some months and didn't understand why she kept this. He didn't understand. At all.

Now, he was curious. He had to ask her and tell her he looked inside her jewelry box. Great.

By the end of this week he got his ring and now had to put it on Eunji fingers. He was looking at her getting ready. Her old pants and shirt. He frowned.

“You know we're going to a fancy restaurant, right ?”

She rolled her eyes. “Yeah. But I only have this.”

“It's not true. My junior told me that when you came to pick me up, he got an heart attack because you looked so dolly. Something like a red dress and heels ? I never saw you wearing heels." YongGuk said with a malicious grin.

Eunji blushed. “Shut up.”

“I would like to see you wear this for me.” YongGuk stated frankly. He felt sorry looking at her. She was angry.

“I was all beautiful and pretty and had make up on and har curled my hair. Do you know how much I walked in these heels ? My feets were jelly after this. You wasn't there to see me when I took so much time to get ready.”

He made her sit on his lap. “If you put back your dress right now, you're sure that I will see it.”

They stared at each others for a while and suddenly she sighed. “It will take a lot of time.”

“For once that I'll be the one waiting Eunji. That won't kill me.” YongGuk signed; touching her heart. She felt all weird when he said that, she didn't know if she had to laugh or cry. She just sighed and left for the bathroom.

YongGuk waited for her to get ready feeling all weird. To the idea of seeing her like this, he feel so overwhelmed by her kindness and willingness to make him happy. He knows her bad character, he've seen her be like that around other people.But it looked like with him she would soften and just be calm and mild. Even more now that he's doing his military service.

He had time to read a large part of his book when she came back. He dropped his book on the floor when his eyes landed on her, making Eunji blush. She couldn't even look at him properly.

“Okay let's just leave if you don't mind.”

She was already heading to the door when YongGuk catched back her hand and made her turn back. In heels, she stumbled and YongGuk catched her in his arms. She dared to look at him in the eyes.

“Thanks you. You're gorgeous. Everythingg looks so great on you.  And you're wearing my color. Thanks you.” YongGuk expressed, moved by the vibrant red dress she was sporting.

Eunji hugged him and he smelled her unusual rose perfume. Arriving to the restaurant together, YongGuk asked the waiter to take a photo of them, surprising Eunji.He justified himself. “Tonight is special. We don't go on dates often, we must have memories okay ?”

She nodded, still very embarassed by the attention. YongGuk and her had a great dinner. Eunji and him left the restaurant and started their walk on the stream in Seoul. A lot of couple were here, making YongGuk wonder if it was the best place to propose. Eunji sat next to the stream with a smile and he did the same; but looking at her only. Eunji was looking at the people around them, little kids running and couples around. Parents with their kids. They arrived to the little wish part of the stream, the all beginning.

Eunji instincly took out some coins and placed herself on the rock to throw her coin.

“Be careful.” YongGuk signed, loving how she gave him a look before throwing the coin. Eunji suceeded to throw the coin in the outer part of circle, she whined a little but still left the rock. “It's your turn.”

“Kay.”

YongGuk closed his eyes one second, whispering : 'please, I want her to say yes.' He threw his coin and it sucessfully landed in the middle. People around him clapped and he had a low chuckle.

“What was your wish ?” Eunji asked, as they started to go in a isolated place. YongGuk blushed and shrugged. His girlfriend found this behavior weird. Actually this evening was quite weird, they never dressed up and went in fancy restaurant. It was surrealist. All of this. Especially YongGuk here with her. He grabbed her hand gently, motionned her to sit on a bench with him.

'Okay this is the moment.'
