Description

We are like the summer months; beautiful while they last,

 

But too soon to give way to the falling leaves of autumn.

 

You are the fiery hues in the autumn leaf weakly clinging to the branch,

 

And I am the powdery ash that remains after you have fallen.  

 

Foreword

Thursday, August 25th, 2016

“It’s been a while, hasn’t it?” She smiled into the cool breeze, letting it push the dark strands of her hair across her face. The wind carried her voice gently over the lake, acting as a messenger to the recipients waiting over the horizon. Everything seemed so familiar, as if nothing had changed since that day. The same town, the same buildings, the same waters. As she looked into the rippling blue waters, her mind let itself slip back into a wave of nostalgia. The tips of the leaves on the tree were beginnning to turn to light shades of orange and red. His sweet voice echoed in her mind as if it were just yesterday. Warm memories of meaningless talks on the beach, of saccharine kisses under the shade of the weeping willows and never ending laughter as they ran down the streets in the pouring rain. But they were like the summer; so beautiful while it lasts, but too soon to give way to the falling leaves of autumn.

Chapter 10: iTS ALREADY BEEN ONE THIRD INTO THE STORY OH MY-- Okay, so the last few chapters have been a twist of events and I did not expect it tbh (not in a bad way though) And it breaks me how Areum is thinking about Jongdae :')))) Also, after reading this I'm guessing the second part or the third part of the story is going to be in the present? I sense some angst coming in the future chapters though ;u; Just a guess but does Jongdae lose his memories?

Chapter 9: Oh man, seven hours, yikes. I mean, Areum should of taken a photo lol, it's an one in a lifetime experience you know? And I accidently read one of the sentences wrong and I thought it said "I [Jongdae] might fall for you" and almost scrEAMED. But, one thing I like to point out is that I loved how positive Jongdae's mindset was even though he was given an not-so-good situation. Besides that, I hope you're doing okay, and good luck on your stories! I'll make sure to support you in the future :-)

Chapter 8: I already ship the couples ;) <3 But if I was Areum or if just saw a wild bat I would of screamed and ran for my life even if it was harmless lmao. And the irony, haha, this is why you should be careful with your words kids, take note Areum lol. And the natural skinship he's making at the end, smooth Jongdae ;D

Chapter 7: "The Boy" omg, can't her mother learn from her aunt and learn how to be nice to her. And monopoly was my life when I was like 10 lol, I was super competitive when playing haha, just like Areum was during the basketball game. Nice to see the badass side of her ;D I hope the three of them can be great friends to Areum in the future too (or something more ;););) ) But yeah, I feel like there's going to be a twist or something.

Chapter 6: The chocolate filled croissants strikes again! And lmao, we all knew that it was him ;D I really love Areum's character so far and I want to be friends with her but she's seems to smart for me lol. The phonecall omg, I was going to say that it was such a -blocker but then it said that the tone of the aunt was tense. I'm pretty sure that means something bad happened and I'm getting nervous ;A; Besides that Jongdae and Areum's relationship is progressing really smoothly and I already see her teasing him ;)

On a random side note: For some reason it's kind of fun using the spoiler tags, your story was the first time I used this lol.

Chapter 5: It feels like it's been years since I commented lol. But I'm back!

Okay so first of all I liked how you described the cat, like I could imagine it in my head how cute it was (I love cats lol). And I just remembered how Namjoo was part of the characters when I opened the story up, and I was wondering when she'll appear and she did! I wonder what kind part she'll play in the future chapters I covered that up just in case it was a spoiler lol, I hope I did the tag right. And the ending *wiggles eyebrows* I wonder who that is ;D

Oh, wow, dude, your writing style omg. Like that snipet just got me like "is this a book or what?" I really like when fan fiction writers write like that. It makes me feel more like "I created my own characters but I just used the images of those famous people to represent my characters" which I think is amazing. So yeah, that foreword got me. And I love the poster. In my opinion it really does set the tone of the fiction and this just reminds me of autumn which really goes well the title Dead Leaves. And I love BTSxEXO even if BTS was just used as an inspiration, I'm still all here for that collaboration :p

Chapter 9: I swear to god, Jongdae isn't my bias in Exo, but I just couldn't resist this story after reading the description! I've read all 9 chapters in like under an hour and decided that I wanted to read more, so I subscribed! He is such an adorable character and you just made me love him even more!!! I seriously ship Jongdae and Areum xD Lolol keep up the good work author-nim and I hope to see more from this story!
